I just discovered that the 6 month upgrade is really a 6 month trial. In a nut shell, you have two active standalone subs, one is a free 6 month trial, the other isnt.
I was one of the ones that had Access Slim, and got the free 180 day Elite upgrade .
I decided this morning that I was gonna ditch Vue for good, and go with Slingtv for cost reasons, so I canceled Access Slim sub online, but surprise, surprise, because of the Elite free upgrade, I still have Vue for free until the promo sub expires Jan 28, 2018. 6 months of free Vue service, at no cost.
In six months time, perhaps I will add my card back to wallet, and renew my Vue sub , or perhaps I will just wait till 1/28/18, and go with Slingtv when Vue trial is over.
I am not keen on all the channels, but free is free, and $180 in my pocket is $180 in my pocket…
