When Will The Playstation 5 Be Back In Stock

This is because Sony will be shipping them to users at near enough the same time. Due to this, they often go live on the same day, or in the same week. We expect to see the supply and demand lighten up over the course of this year, but that all remains to be seen. That’s an extremely difficult question to answer, but one that’s on everyone’s lips. In 2020, 4.5 million PS5 consoles were shipped worldwide, Sony said, putting it inline with the PS4 launch numbers. While trying to get hold of any PS5 stock in the UK is still a bloody nightmare, retailer Currys has announced a new method of schnaffling one that might just be a worthwhile method. The company’s new ‘PS5 Priority Pass‘ process will hopefully offer shoppers a more luck-based method to getting a new console, but one that’s safe from bots and scalpers.
This is in an effort to help PS5 stock get into the ‘right’ hands whenever the console becomes available, and it does have the hallmarks of a safer route, nonetheless.
The system is simple: sign up with Currys , and you’ll be entered into a raffle with all the other folks who have signed up. If your name is pulled out of the hat then you will have a guaranteed chance to buy a PS5 with a unique Priority Pass, containing a unique code through which you can buy a PS5, as well as information about your local Currys stores where you can buy the console from. The very important thing to note is that these codes will only be valid for 72 hours.
As a result, the switch from ‘risk losing all stock to scalpers and bots’ to ‘luck of the draw raffle system’ seems to be one that all parties are happy with even if they aren’t lucky in said raffles – still, a bitter chance than the former, unless you, yourself, are a robot.

When Might Ps5 Pre
Sony has not yet announced when gamers will be able to lock in pre-orders, but based on the PS4âs pre-order and release date timeline, itâs possible to look ahead and make an educated guess about what the company has planned in the coming months.
Sony first revealed the PS4 release date, official price, and pre-order window back in mid-August 2013, just four months before the consoleâs mid-November debut. - If you have an email and a PSN ID , then we highly encourage you to register for the chance to order a PS5 directly from Sony. This doesnt guarantee one, but for what its worth, this method is how I was able to secure my own, and is very scalper-proof.

The PS5 price is $499 . That puts it at the same price point as the Xbox Series X, but that shouldn’t come as a surprise to many, seeing as it’s difficult to imagine the PS5 price exceeding $500 when it’s up against the affordable spread put out by Microsoft.
