Now that the PS5 is a year old, 2021’s Black Friday is filled with amazing deals on recently released PS5 games. Of course, those who are still on the PS4 can expect hundreds of games on sale. Just yesterday, Sony officially opened the PlayStation Store’s Black Friday Sale offering up to 60% off on PS5/PS4 games such as Back 4 Blood, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, Ratchet and Clank, and more.
The PlayStation Store’s Black Friday Sale is live now until November 29, 2021. However, those who prefer physical PS4/PS5 games can count on Walmart, offering some titles cheaper than the PlayStation Store. Theres no denying that the PS4 is entering its twilight years, but that doesnt mean the console isnt still worthy of a spot in your entertainment center. If you have a shelf to fill, the good news is we expect to see significant money off the machine this Black Friday.
In previous years the PS4 Slim has dropped down to just $200 with three included games, and even the 1TB model with up to three games has been available for around $400. We dont necessarily expect the console to drop to an even lower price this year, but its likely there will be a range of tempting bundles available in the $200 ballpark.
The PS4 Pro on the other hand has generally maintained its price since its 2016 launch. Previous Black Friday sales have seen it bundled with a game and slashed by $50, but even this year the demand for the supped-up PS4 has outstripped supply. Last month Best Buy had a restock of the PS4 Pro that sold out in two minutes!
Unfortunately, the PS5 restock nightmare has started to impact the supply of the PS4. Many gamers frustrated at not being able to purchase a PS5 have instead opted for a PS4, which in turn is creating a stock shortage of PS4s. Because of this, the deals on PS4 consoles might not be quite as plentiful as in previous years.
How Long Is Cold War On Sale
The sale for Black Ops Cold War will be ending in exactly two weeks, on March 18th. Right now, you can get the base Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War game on whichever platform you choose for a total of $44.99, about $15 off of the usual price.
