Best Aim Assist Type In Vanguard

Aim assist is a factor that all controller players need to take into consideration and Vanguard offers several types to choose from:

• Default : Traditional aim slowdown near the target. A wider area where your aim will slow around an opponent. This is the same Aim Assist used in Warzone too, so will feel familiar.
• Precision: Strong aim assist slowdown that only kicks in when close to an enemy player. Only use this option if youre a skilled and accurate player. The slowdown area is minimal and casual players will not like this.
• Focusing: Strong aim slowdown that kicks in when narrowly missing targets. If youre new to Call of Duty, this is your best bet to improve on a controller.
• Legacy : Alternate aim slowdown near target. If you play more Cold War than Warzone, Legacy will feel more familiar to you.

Why Is Aim Assist Not Working In Overwatch 2

Aim assist is not working in Overwatch 2 because youre playing in a PC lobby.

If one person is playing the game on a PC, Aim Assist will be disabled for everyone.

Even if everyone else is playing on a console using a controller, they wont have access to Aim Assist.

Many console players are furious about this because its unfair to them.

I think having no aim assist on PC lobbies is a big disadvantage. PC can already aim better naturally and now you take away a controllers only advantage to keep up with the PC lobbies. The fights are just unfair at that point.

I only realised this recently and I searched it up and their reasoning was to balance it out by that they mean make console players useless against PC.
