Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale developed by an EA studio, Respawn Entertainment. This means that to play the game, your platform account will need to be linked to your EA account in order to play online and save your progress.
While there is cross-platform play on Apex Legends, cross-progression is not yet available, which means you wont be able to play on the same account on multiple platforms. So, for those who have switched platforms and now need to link their EA account once again, heres how to do so.
How To Unlink Account To Twitch
Let’s say, you don’t want your old EA account to receive prizes for Twitch drop, you could unlink your account to make a new one.
- Log into your account on ea.com and go to your profile page. Choose the Connections tab, then delink the Amazon profile.
- Click Contact Us at the top of help.ea.com.
- Choose FIFA 21 as your game.
- Pick the platform you play on.
- Click Twitch for the topic.

How To Unlink Your Ea Account From Your Platform Account
You can unlink your platform accounts from your EA Account if you want to link them to a different EA Account, as long as your EA Account has never had the same account type linked to it before.
All your EA game progress is linked to your EA Account, not your platform account. That means if you do end up deciding to unlink your persona from one account to link it to another, youll lose your game progress.

You should be able to remove your PSN ID from your EA account here: just log in using the EA account that you want unlinking.
If you can’t log into your EA account then yes you will have a difficult time trying to remove your PSN ID if you can’t verify that EA account with an EA adviser.

The only way to unlink then my friend is having an EA adviser do it for you. You have access to your EA account so I see no issue as to why they wouldn’t unlink it.

You can check if youve linked your accounts before by checking your About Me page on myaccount.ea.com.
Any Xbox Gamertags and PlayStationNetwork Online IDs that are linked to your EA Account will show under Connected Accounts. Connected Switch Accounts and Stadia Accounts wont show here.
Can I link multiple platform account IDs?
An EA Account can only have one of each platform account linked at a time. This means that you cant link an EA Account to two PlayStationNetwork IDs, for example. Instead, youll need to create a new EA Account to link to your additional platform accounts. If you try to link additional accounts, youll get a message that says Linked accounts found.
How To Unlink Epic Games Account
Youll need to hit up the web to unlink your account, so head to EpicGames.com in your preferred browser to get started.
Sign-in to your Epic Games account in the top-right hand corner of the screen by hitting Sign In. Simples!
Choose Connected Accounts from the menu on the left.
Youll see a Disconnect option under each account. Choose the one you wish to disconnect, which includes Xbox One, Switch, GitHub, Twitch, and PlayStation Network.

Apex Legends Rampart Town Takeover
Collection Events and town takeovers have been a staple part of new seasons in Apex Legends since Octanes Gauntlet was introduced on Kings Canyon back in Season 2.
Although Season 9 did introduce changes to Olympus at the midway point of the season and a collection event with Revenants Heirloom, we did not receive a town takeover.
However, the new town takeover hosted by Rampart is here. For this takeover, Big Maude, a huge landcrawler which Rampart will use as her workshop, has arrived near Worlds Edges Lava City.

This first option isn’t a true “fix” but rather a workaround to whatever is causing the problem on the PS4 but not other platforms — you can overwhelm the software and force a successful sign in by spamming the sign in option.
Just hold the left thumbstick upward and continuously tap X to spam the sign in button for 60 – 120 seconds and you’ll typically get in without any further issues.
Unfortunately, you’ll have to do this again every single time the app closes.
Not stoked about that prospect? There is a full fix so you don’t have to go through that annoying process, but its more in-depth and requires unlinking your Twitch account from your PS4.
To get this process started, head to the PS4 home screen and go through this series of menus:
- Settings
- Link Your Account With Twitch
- Sign Out
After signing out of Twitch on your console, switch over to a separate device like your PC or tablet and head to the Twitch website.
From there, click the icon for your avatar in the top-right corner, then choose Settings and navigate to the Connections tab. Go through the process of linking your Twitch account to the PS4 again just like you did when first installing the app.
In most cases, the problem should now be solved, although the error code may occur again in the future and require unlinking and re-linking yet again.
