How To Back Up Or Replace Your World In Minecraft Realms
You don’t have to stick with the same World when using Minecraft Realms. If you want to start a completely new World or if you want to replace your current one with another, you can do that too. But you might want to back up your current World before doing so, otherwise you’ll lose any progress you’ve made on it.
To back up your existing World on Minecraft Realms, click the ‘Edit’ button next to your Realm world and select ‘Download World’. This will save the World to your device and you’ll be able to play it locally or re-upload it again later if you change your mind.
To replace your current World on Minecraft Realms, again click ‘Edit’ next to your Realm world and select ‘Replace World’. You will be then asked to confirm this action before being presented with a list of available worlds to replace it with. Once selected, the new world will be uploaded and you’ll be ready to go.
How To Invite Friends To Your Minecraft Realms
The good news is that friends that you want to invite to your Realm don’t need their own Minecraft Realms subscription to join you. To invite friends to your Realm, click the Edit button next to your Realm world, then select ‘Members’. Here you’ll be able to invite other players and manage those that already have access to the realm. You can ‘uninvite’ players if they’ve outstayed their welcome or haven’t been active for a while on this page too.
It seems that the number of invites you can send out is almost limitless but the people that can play on your Realm simultaneously will be limited by your subscription type.
Will A Realm Royale Ps4 Release Happen
Hi-Rezs Paladins spin-off is already attracting a ton of players on PC. The price is right and its an excellent alternative to Fortnite if you get tired of it. Logic would dictate that Hi-Rez would want to get Realm Royale on PS4 ASAP.
Whether or not its coming to PS4, though, is in the air. Hi-Rez hasnt mentioned whether or not its planning a PS4 version of the game, and since it just hit early access on PC, we might be waiting a bit for an answer.
However, the good news is that Paladins has made it onto PS4, so we do know that Hi-Rez has experience porting games from PC to PS4. Its likely the game will make it to console, but we cant be sure if itll be sooner or later when it happens.

You Can Finally Play Minecraft With Your Friends On Ps4
Minecraft has finally achieved the full cross-play dream
Minecraft cross-play has finally come to PlayStation 4. The last holdout on the block-builders platform-agnostic ambitions, Sony has finally agreed to whatever terms it needed to. Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is now on PS4, which means that PC, Xbox One, Switch, mobile, and PlayStation 4 fans can all play together like the great big happy family they are.
Now that Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is on PS4 as a free update if you already own the game the multi-platform release now shares unified code across every version. That means cross-play now works across everything, but it also means PS4 will get updates at the same time as other platforms, as well as the Minecraft Marketplace and its selection selection of worlds, skins, and minigames.
PCs Java Edition of Minecraft is still a separate version that can only connect with other Java Edition players across Windows, MacOS, and Linux. If you want to play with your console pals, youll still need Bedrock Edition, which is currently only available on Windows 10 via the Microsoft Store.

Will Console Edition Ever Get Dedicated Servers Like Minecraft Realms
Console Minecraft supports both local and online multiplayer, but the latter has an issue: You can only play on a friends Minecraft world while your friend is actually playing. It is still very much the hosts world. On PC Minecraft, Mojang offers the Minecraft Realms service for a monthly fee, which lets players host their worlds serverside, so that anyone on their whitelist can join the world at any time even when the host isnt playing. Its a total paradigm shift. On the PC version, a world can be truly shared. On consoles, you can only play according to your hosts schedule.
The great masses of the people have been clamoring for a service like Minecraft Realms on the consoles for years and, shockingly, console version developer 4J Studios actually commented on it, way back in 2014. Their response: They were looking into it. Well, its not a no. Bear in mind that was before the PS4 and Xbox One versions even released, and those are the versions with the most potential for a persistent online component.
4J Studios has, as far as we can tell, largely been focusing on bringing Minecraft on consoles closer to parity with the PC edition. This has succeeded. But we have no way of knowing what else the companys Minecraft team has been working on. Persistent servers clearly arent an insurmountable technical challenge, or even a particularly difficult onelots of other games have them. Its just a matter of resources and logistics.
Minecraft Realms Price And What Is Included
As mentioned, you pay a monthly fee to keep your Minecraft world open as a Realm. However, there are three versions of the Realms subscription, each with their own benefits, which are listed below:
Remember, for any of these subscription tiers, there’s always the option to cancel later if you feel you’re not getting much use from it. After cancelling your subscription, you’ve got 18 months to download your Realm worlds before they are permanently deleted. If you sign up for Minecraft Realms again, you can replace your new world with the downloaded backup of one of your previous Realm world – more on that further down.
If you’ve opted for the 10-player subscription to Realms Plus, you should keep an eye out for the monthly updates. New maps, character skins, and mini-games are constantly being added and as they’re available for free with Realms Plus, it seems silly not to at least check out what’s on offer.
It’s worth mentioning that if you have an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass subscription, you can play Minecraft for no additional cost, but you still need to pay for Realms. You can also play Minecraft for free in a limited browser-based version of the game.

If you are having trouble finding the Minecraft Realms PS4, there are a few things that may be causing the issue. First, make sure that your PS4 is signed in to the right Sony account.
If you dont have an existing PlayStation account or if your email address doesnt match your PlayStation profile name, then you will need to create a new one before trying to sign in to Minecraft realms again.
If all of these options fail, try disabling other applications on your computer and signing in only for Minecraft realms. Last but not least, make sure that everyone else who wants to play with you has also activated their copy of Minecraft and set up their PlayStation profile correctly as well.

If you’ve bene playing Minecraft on the PlayStation 4 for a while now, you’ve been doing so without two key features that other platforms had access to. Those omissions have finally been resolved though now that both Realms and Servers have come to the PlayStation platforms which means you’ve got new ways to play with other players whether you’re on the PlayStation 4 or are now playing on the PlayStation 5.
Mojang announced the release of the Realms and Servers this week with the video below shared to introduce the two multiplayer features. Though they both allow players to link up with friends and other random players, they function differently from one another.

“This gives you access to unique content created by your fellow Minecrafters, whom you can also play with!” Mojang said about the features. “Servers are full of competitive game modes, builds, and mini-games so creative that only our incredible community could have dreamed them up.”

Minecraft Realms Finally Arrives On Playstation
PlayStation consoles owners can now leverage Cross-Play and access Minecraft Realms, which is now based on Microsoft Azure.
Minecraft is a complete cross-platform game these days. Microsofts ever-popular games is available on mobile, PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo. Before you can connect to the server, you will need to find the servers address and port. These will be shown on your servers Control Panel. Each Realm that a player joins first requires an invitation, indicated by the flashing mail icon.
