Is There Seriously Still No Way To Delete Dlc Without The Game

So someone downloaded the free Battlefield dlc onto my console and I want to get rid of it because I don’t have/want those games but I can’t uninstall it because the only way to uninstall dlc requires you to have the game.

So basically instead of simply being able to access the content on my HDD I’m supposed to what, drive down to GameStop and pay $60 to buy games I don’t want so I can remove dlc I don’t want? People were complaining about this when the console came out and I can’t believe after years this is still an issue.

So does anyone know of a way around this?

P.S. Microsoft, If you aren’t going to let us access our hard drives at least give us the option to uninstall dlc through the store .

Anytime I’ve uninstalled a game and all it’s DLC, the DLC always has to be re-downloaded separately. So you have to tell the PS4 what to redownload. Once you purchase the item, it should always be in your library, or if you share the PS4 the library of whoever purchased the pack.

Well, in that case, youre going to need to remove it from your PS4after all, some DLC eats up gigabytes of data, so theres no point in letting it sit around on your console.

No doubt people will be a little miffed to find this out, and if you ask us, its a bit of an egregious oversight on Sonys part not to allow an easy way to move DLC for the PS4. With any luck, a new PS4 update will remedy the situation, but for now youll have to use this workaround to delete any unwanted content.

I tried going threw the storage and it doesnt show an option to uninstall the expansion, only the entire game.

I dont believe its possible to remove a DLC separately once it was installed on the PS4. To remove a DLC, you will need to uninstall the full game and then reinstall it without the DLC. Hope this helps.

Will this be something you guys will be working on. Having to uninstall my game just to turn off one dlc seems ridiculous.

No. Nor can you do it from the Library section in your software list on the main UI. It shows you every bit of DLC you have per game but no option to delete it. Just an option to re-download it.
