This year at E3 2018 it was announced that Fortnite is now on the Nintendo Switch. Now you can cross-play with Fortnite on your PC, Switch, Mac, iOS, Xbox, and soon for the PlayStation.
Sony finally caved and said there will soon be a Beta program for PlayStation users to be able to use cross-play abilities across all of the consoles. Users are excited to soon get the chance to play with their friends who own different consoles. But, what does that mean for all your purchases and all the problems with linking your Fornite accounts ?
Well, Epic Games gave us a heads up today on saying they are working on two different things. “1) An account-merging feature to combine Battle Royale purchases, coming in November. 2) Enabling unlinking a console from one Fortnite account, and relinking to another Fortnite account. Coming in a few days.” They have since deleted the Tweet, but we caught it for you.
The current system already allows you to unlink and re-link your account. But, when you do, you lose everything. It’s nice to know that Epic Games will be fixing the issues on their end just like Sony is on theirs!
Will I Loose My Progress V
No, all your purchases, progress, skins, etc are linked to your Fortnite account. Once you logout you can link your Fortnite account to any other PS4 console. So it is just signing in and signing out. It is not going to affect any of your progress if you logout of Fortnite on PS4 multiple times.

Unlinking A Ps4 Account From An Epicgames Account
Hi everyone, so I’ve got a friend who’s got a complicated situation that I’m trying to get through and need some clarification.
Here’s what’s happened. She has a PSN account which is connected to an EpicGames account but the EpicGames account is her ex-boyfriends and he has turned on Parental Controls, changed the EpicGames password, enabled 2FA, the works. She can’t voice chat or anything anymore because he set it so she can’t do it.
She can still get into the account on a laptop and is considering unlinking the account, but we need to know if it’ll reset the PS4 progress rather than the PC progress. She owns her PSN account and it had Fortnite on it BEFORE it got linked to her Ex’s EpicGames account, so… will her progress be reset?
TL DR – Friend’s ex-boyfriend is messing with her account, will unlinking reset PS4 or PC when PS4 came first?

Relink An Unlink Account On Fortnite
Guys,
My 11 year old son got an Xbox last week and set it al l up.
He couldn’t chat with friends on other platforms, I know think this is because he isn’t 13 form another post I have read.
So he unlinked his account hoping he could reinstall and fix it but he now has been given a new account on the Xbox, old one still on the PC’
Need to know how to get the old account back on the Xbox and if I can somewhere change setting so he can talk to other friends on other platforms using the Xbox.
Sorry for the long post but I have no clue how these things work !
Look forward to some help please for a frustrated 11 year old who has a new toy he cant enjoy after years of waiting and now in lock down !!

Sorry about that issue, so if i understood correctly, your son has 2 accounts , one on a pc , and a new one on the console.
He wants to get back the old one on the console , right ?
