How To Complete A Sea Of Thieves Siren Shrine
Once youre inside your chosen Siren Shrine, youll have to explore it and solve puzzles to unlock loot as you go. These shrines are broken down into different sections, each having its own loot with the best stuff being in the final section. Each Siren Shrine is tackled in a unique way. For example, the Shrine of Ancient Tears, has lots of puzzles involving pressure plates, braziers, and timed levers across multiple rooms. Meanwhile the Shrine of Oceans Fortune is entirely based around platforming, and requires players to use pulleys, capstans, and wheels to raise, lower, and rotate masts and platforms to climb up the shrine, with the best loot being right at the very top.
Youll likely encounter Coral Skeletons and Ocean Crawlers guarding the shrines, so make sure you come prepared with food and ammo, although you will be able to find some in barrels and ammo boxes in the shrines.
As you navigate through a shrine and solve its puzzles, you need to store any loot at Mermaid Statues. To store something, you need to be holding an item a chest for example and must go to the statue and follow the prompt to store it. These statues can hold up to 20 items of loot for your crew. A statue shares its inventory with every other statue in a shrine, so you can only ever store up to 20 items at once. You can also get the statue to drop all stored loot by following the button prompt to Collect Treasure.

Can You Sell Chickens In Sea Of Thieves
Chickens are passive Creatures in Sea of Thieves which can be found on Islands. They can be captured in Chicken Coops to sell to the Merchant Alliance , especially at the request of their Trade Good Ledgers. As of the Anniversary Update, Chickens can now be killed for meat, which can be sold to The Hunters Call.
When Is The Sea Of Thieves Ps4 Release Date
As we said above, its highly unlikely that Sea of Thieves will ever come to PS4. If it does, then the release date is way out in the future. However, there is another pirate game coming out this year from Ubisoft that will hit PS4 called Skull and Bones.

Disappointed By ‘sea Of Thieves’ Here’s A Great Pirate Game To Play Instead
Assassin’s Creed Rogue should scratch your pirate’s itch.
Sea of Thieves is the first big Xbox One exclusive* of 2018, and already it’s being panned by critics and players alike.
The reviews have not been kind, and the game is currently rocking a 64/100 on Open Critic
Given how few pirate-themed games release each year gamers had extremely high hopes for Rare’s latest game. Those hopes have been dashed, at least until the developer can give the game more content than what’s on offer. The only silver lining is for Xbox Games Pass subscribers, who got the game as part of the monthly $10 subscription fee. Everyone else is paying far too much for the game.
Fortunately for scurvy seadogs everywhere, there’s another pirate game that just released that you can play instead. And it’s much better.
I’m talking about the remastered version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue, a game that many people missed when it first came out. That’s because it released on Xbox 360 and PS3 at the same time as Assassin’s Creed Unity became the first ‘next-gen’ game in the series on PS4 and Xbox One.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered
But Assassin’s Creed Rogue is really good. It rounds out the three-game arc that started with Assassin’s Creed III and then became completely awesome with the pirate-themed Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The former game was decent, but the latter was phenomenal. And Rogue carries on that tradition of naval warfare and excellent storytelling.

The shore will always come up faster than you expect and the last thing you want to do is bust the hell out of your ship because youre trying to steer, drop anchor and fiddle with the sails all at once as it does. When you get near the location of a shrine, you need to keep an eye out for glowing, purple wisps rising in a spiral above the water. Directly below, youll notice the same wisps spiralling down like a funnel towards the sea floor. To get to a shrine, youll need to dive all the way down this funnel. All the shrines are very deep down, but staying roughly within the well-lit areas of the sea floor will massively extend how long you can hold your breath. Some shrines will have bubble streams which you can swim into to replenish your air supply. Bring some bananas just in case though.

What Are Sea Of Thieves Siren Shrines And What Loot Do They Have
New for Season 4 of Sea of Thieves, Siren Shrines are underwater points-of-interest that contain lots of loot locked behind tricky puzzles and dangerous foes. They are always visible on your ships map, and your crew can dive down to any shrine and get its loot at any time you dont need a key, quest, or other item to get access. In the shrines, youll be using Mermaid Statues to store any loot you find and eventually send it up to the surface more on those below for you to load on to your ship. Be aware that while youre below the waves in a shrine, your ship will be completely vulnerable if left unattended, ready for any rival pirate crews to snatch the loot you might have loaded on deck.
Siren Shrines contain a new Coral variation of existing loot. Youll be able to find Coral Chests and Coral trinket items, Coral Skulls, and Coral Merchant coffers within the shrines, so theres something for every Trading Company to have. Of course, youll also be able to find plenty of Siren Gems in the shrines which can be sold to anyone. From the shrines weve run, weve managed to get the highly valuable Chests of Ancient Tributes from the final areas of each shrine and well over 20 other items, so they are well worth doing. Make sure you become a Sea of Thieves Emissary to increase your gold gains as you cash in your Siren Shrine loot.

Will Sea Of Thieves Be On Ps4 Or Playstation 5
Rare, the developer of Sea of Thieves, is a first-party studio – which means they’re owned by Microsoft, and so develop solely for Microsoft platforms – but there is still a chance that it’s a “maybe” – but more as a way to get the Xbox ecosystem onto other consoles.
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, has long touted the benefits of cross-play, and has stated that Microsoft thinks of Xbox as a platform, not a console – potentially paving the way for Xbox first-party games jumping to rival systems – like the PlayStation 4 or 5.
In an interview with Kotaku last year, Spencer was pressed on the possibility of games like Sea of Thieves coming to PlayStation or even Switch consoles.
“The games themselves are critically important to players and people playing. But ensuring that you have a connected ecosystem with the players, where peoples save game and their state and their friends list and their entitlements move seamlessly from every ecosystemfrom every devicethat they want to play on is critical,” he told Stephen Totilo.
“There arent other systems where we can go do that today.”
Xbox Live has come to Switch, helping allow players to play with their friends in games like Minecraft – itself a Microsoft-owned property . There’s a chance that any Xbox game moving platforms would require Xbox Live , and Sony is unlikely to let that happen.
