How To Make Updates Go Faster On Ps4

PS4 Modern Warfare Copying Add-On Stuck – 100% FIX HERE

When you download a PS4 game, the file downloads to a specific folder. It then copies across all of the data to the games folder. It can be explained as follows: Files can become corrupted for a number of reasons during the download process. If this file gets written to the full game file youd have to then download the full game file again and the patch. This way if the file becomes corrupted you just download the patch again.

The larger the original download, the longer it will take for the PS4 copying update file to complete. You can upgrade your internal drive to a much faster drive such an SSD, but thats tricky without the right knowledge and voids your warranty. This is how to make PS4 download faster as the write speeds of that drive are, in almost all cases, much faster than those of the stock PS4 drive. So you either suck it up and wait, or, you replace your internal hard drive.

There is however another solution.

Update 30/03/2020

Once the update has been downloaded, if you restart your PS4 at that point, when it boots back up again, the update will be completed. Though this is hardly an ideal solution it is at least something for those who folks who are not willing or able to upgrade their internal storage.

Though many have tried these tips for , its not going to fix the issue with the slow PS4 update file copying over.

Having released its big Season 2 Reloaded patch, Activision has also left some players in a frustrating Warzone copying add on loop.

From what has been shared online, fans of COD cannot play or do anything more than constantly try and download Modern Warfare and its Battle Royale spin-off.

The file size is around 28GB and usually includes a 30-minute wait for anyone who wants to try and play their games again.

The problem is on PS4, and while the community is sharing a few fixes, there doesnt appear to be a sure-fire way of avoiding this problem.

Some gamers believe it is connected with the Modern Warfare disc, while others think it has something to do with the Campaign Packs that can be installed.

One user writes: Go into your game and check to see if all the data packs are downloaded the latest update uninstalled most of them for me once I reinstalled them, this stopped happening.

Solution : Change Your Dns Settings

Try tweaking your Internet connection settings like this in order to avoid the error. This will change the DNS address of your Internet connection to the open DNS address made by Google specifically for cases like yours.

However, the process is something that has helped plenty of people fix their error code but it appears sometimes the Googles DNS was not enough. A simple Google search should be enough to point you to the right direction when it comes to the right open DNS address.

Follow the instructions displayed in our other article in order to change the DNS address of your PlayStation 4. Make sure you check under Solution 5 from the article, under the PlayStation 4 Users section.

But just because the rubber tears, that doesnt mean you have to ditch the controller!

Malfunction: Disc Auto Ejects Or Not At All

User reports regarding malfunctioning optical drives have been trickling out since the PS4 launched. Some consoles are seemingly unable to eject discs, while others automatically eject discs upon insertion. Some reports have even claimed that the console will continuously attempt to eject a disc when there is no disc inserted.

This issue mainly plagues early PS4 models, which featured touch-capacitive power and eject buttons. When you touch the eject button on these models, a piece of rubber helps eject the disc. The problem here is that overheating can cause the rubber to inflate, and discs to eject randomly. Sony addressed this hardware issue in later models by replacing the touch-operated sensors with mechanical buttons, but for those with the original model, the risk of auto-ejecting remains.

If the problem persists after performing the potential solutions below, contact Sony for additional support.

How To Position Your Ps5 Horizontally

How to STOP Copying Add-On In Warzone and Modern Warfare | Season 2 Reloaded Update PS4
  • In order to position your PS5 horizontally , you’ll want to configure the stand so that it’s clips are unaligned with the slot in the centre of the base. You can twist the stand to put it in two different positions. For horizontal use, it should look as pictured.
  • At the rear of the PS5, beneath the HDMI port and USB slots, you’ll find a line of PlayStation symbols etched into the plastic frame. Align the clips on the stand so that they match the two Square symbols at either end of the pattern, and push it down until it’s secure.
  • There’s no snap, so you’ll just want to ensure that it’s fitted in place tightly and securely. You can then safely place your PS5 down in the position you want to store it.
