To activate any cheat in The Sims 4, you’ll first need to open the cheat console. To activate hold all four shoulder buttons at once.
Once opened, the cheat console will appear as a thin box at the top of the screen. Into that, you can type any of the cheats below or on other pages. To close the cheat console, simply press the same keys or buttons.

Just right-click on the file, select rename, and then delete any special characters and spaces. Make sure you don’t change the extension type .

Install Mods For Sims 4
To install mods for PC, players will want to find their game files. Typically, these are located in an Electronic Arts folder in their Documents or elsewhere on the hard drive, followed by a The;Sims 4 subfolder. Inside that subfolder, players should see a folder called Mods. If there is not one already installed, players can create a new folder with that name.
Players will need to download the mod they want to add to the game. They should navigate to their Downloads folder and;unzip the file. The only exception to this process is if the mod they are using is a script mod.
Players should either unzip the file into the Mods folder directly or cut the file using Ctrl + X and paste it into their Mods folder using Ctrl + V.
It’s important to note the mods can only be one folder deep in the Mods folder.;If players want to keep organized, they may want to create subfolders in their mods folder. For example, if a player wanted a separate folder for all their CAS mods, they might have a file path that looks like Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods > CAS Mods. The mod itself could be in the CAS Mods folder, but it may not be in a separate folder within the CAS Mods folder, or the game won’t read it.

Custom content and mods arent without their problems, so we heavily recommend organising your downloaded content well and creating subfolders that categorise the type of content you have downloaded, i.e hairstyles, clothing, objects etc.
This makes it much easier to find and troubleshoot any custom content or mods that arent working properly or showing up in your game.
Subfolders can go a maximum of five folders deep before they stop being recognised by the game, which is especially useful for categories like clothing, where you may have a lot of subcategories, like shirts, trousers etc.
Note that Script mods, which usually consist of several files, cannot be placed into subfolders, so we recommend creating a single folder for that Script Mod within the main Sims 4 mods folder, and placing all relevant files there.
You can also rename your files as long as they end in the correct file extension, which is useful for logging the content creator and its item type.

This isnt EAs fault. This is up to Sony and Microsoft. One, theyd have to add a file downloader into each of their systems, which I dont think they want to do. Two, who knows how much bugginess this would cause. And three, that would mean we also have to deal with corruption and stuff that PC/Mac players have to deal with.;

Any mods that youve now downloaded should be working. If you want to check what mods the game recognizes that youve installed, select View Custom Content once youve restarted to see what appears.
