It should be mentioned that the best tameable creature for passively getting Organic Polymer is Achatina, the giant snail. Instead of simply harvesting Organic Polymer from the wild, Achatina actually produces the stuff. You don’t have to place items on your hotbar to use them. Most every item can be used simply by selecting it in your inventory and clicking on the Use Item button in the lower left portion of your inventory window. This is helpful for when you just want to place down a single item like a campfire, forge, smithy, or a single building piece.
When on the inventory screen of a storage container, dino, or other player you can quickly transfer items from one inventory to the other by double-clicking on the item. Double-clicking on stacks will transfer 1 at a time while holding Shift and double-clicking will transfer 5 at a time.
When using the bow and compound bow the further you pull the arrow back the more damage it will inflict.
If you have any type of water container on your hotbar when it rains you can fill them up by pressing their numbers. Very handy when you are far away from water.
Cloth armor has the best protection against heat.
Hide armor has the best protection against cold.

To transfer dinos or items from one map to the other, the following value must be set via GameUserSettings.ini in advanced mode beforehand:

Now dinos and items can be uploaded to obelisks or LootDrops in ARK.
Here’s how it works:
Go with the dino to an obelisk or LootDrop. There open the respective inventory. Here there is a menu on the right side with ARK data, creatures, and tribute. For the dino upload navigate to creatures. In the upper half are the already uploaded dinos and below the dinos available for upload. Now select the dino you want and upload it with the “paw” on the right.
ATTENTION: When uploading everything falls off your Dino to the ground. To upload the saddle as well see Items Upload.
