Replicator Weapons Apex Legends Season 12

Apex Legends: Raiders Collection Event Trailer | PS5, PS4

These nifty stations that turn material into loot will offer new rewards in Season 12 of Apex Legends. Players will be pleased to see two fan-favorite weapons available through the utilization of the Replicator:

  • Flatline
  • Longbow

Just like the weapons entering the Care Package loot pool, these will also not be available as floor loot at the start of Season 12.

That just about covers the changes to the weapon loot pool via Care Package and Replicator additions. Hopefully, your favorite weapons didnt make their way out of the floor loot pool seeing as itll take you longer to get your hands on them in a match.

Why You Should Play Apex Legends

“Apex is anything but your typical battle royale game, boasting an array of stunning locations and maps, as well as a unique cast of characters – known as Legends – each with their own flair and skillset.

There’s no shortage of ways to customise your Legend and weapons either – a regular calendar of in-game events offer limited-time cosmetics and skins to earn in addition to seasonal battle pass rewards.

On the battlefield, customize diverse classes of looted weapons on the fly with a variety of tiered attachments and hop-ups. Give yourself an edge by mastering your Legend abilities and working as a team when dropping in trios or duos.

One thing’s for sure – an Apex Legends win is something to shout about.”

What Comes With The Apex Legends Ps5 Upgrade

Many features you would expect from a next-gen upgrade are arriving tomorrow for Apex Legends, but there will be some features that are slated for future updates. Out of the gate, the PS5 upgrade will come with 4K output, full 60hz gameplay, HDR, greater LOD distances, and higher-resolution shadow maps.

Understandably, that might be deflating for many Apex Legends fans, but EA promises to bring 120hz gameplay, haptics, adaptive triggers, and overall improvements to the games visuals and audio in due time.

PS5 owners who dont already have the PS4 version of Apex Legends installed on the console can easily go to Game Library on the PS5 dashboard and select the PS5 version of Apex Legends to download.

Those who do have the PS4 version installed will need to go to the Game Hub for Apex Legends instead, select Options next to the Play Game option, and then download the PS5 version under Select Version. Once the download has been completed, its recommended that you delete the PS4 version from the console entirely.

Respawn And Ea Are Focused On Apex Legends’ Future

Signs seem to indicate Respawn is preparing Apex Legends for a move to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Publisher Electronic Arts committed to the future of the franchise during an earnings call in October 2019.

Apex Legends is a major long-term franchise for us,” CEO Andrew Wilson said during the call. “Our pipeline of future content is packed with really fun experiences that will be delivered through upcoming seasons and a regular cadence of updates for the community. With the Apex Legends community now growing 70 million players, we’re focused on expanding to mobile new platforms and new geographies, as well as launching Apex competitive gaming program that we’ll share details on soon.”

In May 2020, Dexerto highlighted a Senior Rendering Engineer job listing available on EA’s website. A key aspect of this position involves pushing “next-gen platforms and the PC to their limits on Apex Legends.” Dexerto also pointed out that the skills asked for including shading, optimizing, and bug-fixing are usually reserved for the end of the development cycle, indicating players might see the project launch sooner rather than later.

Other high-profile games in the same vein, such asFortnite and , have been confirmed for a move to next-gen consoles. While Respawn Entertainment has yet to say anything official, it does look like fans don’t have to worry about Apex Legends being left behind.

It was about time.

The next generation of gaming consoles has been available in the market since 2020, but the transition to them has been slower than expected. Not only did the chip shortage affect the rollout of PlayStation 5, but the lack of native PS5 games also meant players would continue to play the PS4 version of their favorite games.

Apex Legends fans will no longer need to settle down with the PS4 version, however, as its PS5 version is finally making its debut with the Warriors Collection event.

The PS5/next-gen update wont roll out like a usual patch. Players will need to perform the below tasks to install Apexs PS5 version successfully to their consoles.

Is Apex Legends Coming To Series X And Ps5

So, players may wonder if their favorite current-generation offerings will make it to the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5.

Apex Legends, the battle royale game set in the Titanfall universe, has been around since February 2019. It released with no advance marketing or fanfare, and enjoyed an almost error-free launch. Respawn continues to support Apex Legends with fresh seasons, adding new dynamics to its gameplay. This is a title that doesn’t seem destined for the dust heap anytime soon, as long as its creators keep the momentum going.

But will Apex Legends make it to the next generation? After all, it could stay on the current consoles and make use of backward compatibility on the new systems however, a next-gen upgrade sounds far more appealing. Here’s what Electronic Arts and Respawn have established.

Apex Legends Ps5 & Xbox Series X Update Release Time

In the offical announcement tweet from Respawn, they said “The Warriors Collection Event will bring next-gen versions of Apex Legends to PS5 and XSX!”

While that doesn’t explicitly say the release time, we can work out when it will be.

Apex Legends Collection Events always go live at 1pm ET/6pm GMT on the day they start.

Therefore, the release time of Apex Legends on PS5 and Xbox Series X should be 1pm ET/6pm GMT on March 29.

The new version of the game should be live for you to download at that time.

Is There An Apex Legends Ps5 And Xbox Series X Release Date

As of writing, Apex Legends has not been confirmed for either the PS5 or Xbox Series X. We do think the game will release on both the next-gen consoles, however. We can say this based on other similar games confirmed to be getting the next-gen treatment such as Fortnite and Destiny 2. An Apex Legends PS5 and Xbox Series X release will likely happen, were just waiting for the official announcement.

Back in January, we explained how EA had plans for new platforms in 2020 for Apex Legends. While this could be talking about a potential port to the Nintendo Switch or a mobile version of the game, we would be surprised if Apex Legends doesnt release on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Back in May 2020 , too, Respawn filed for a job listing for someone to push next-generation platforms and the PC to their limits on Apex. This job listing all-but confirmed a next-gen release of Apex Legends.

It very much seems as though we are simply waiting for an official confirmation at this point. At the very least, though, both the Series X and PS5 are backward compatible. Apex Legends should work on both next-gen machines without any trouble. Its time to wait and see if EA confirms a next-gen release of Apex Legends. For now, well have to make do with our pitiful current-gen.
