Dualshock Series And Sixaxis
Released in 1998, the DualShock controller for the PlayStation succeeded its predecessor, the Dual Analog, and became the longest running series of controllers for the PlayStation brand. In addition to the inputs of the original, digital, controller , the DualShock featured two analog sticks in a similar fashion to the previous Dual Analog controller, which can also be depressed to activate the L3 and R3 buttons.
The DualShock series consists of four controllers: the DualShock which was the fourth controller released for the PlayStation; the DualShock 2, the only standard controller released for the PlayStation 2, and the DualShock 3, the second and current controller released for the PlayStation 3, and the DualShock 4, which went through a massive redesign and is the default input of the PlayStation 4, and upon release was compatible with the PS3 originally only via USB and eventually with a firmware update, Bluetooth connectivity was enabled. The Sixaxis was the first official controller for the PlayStation 3, and is based on the same design as the DualShock series .
Ps5 Ps Now How Will Playstation Now Work On Playstation 5
On May 16th, 2019 Sony and Microsoft announced a strategic partnership that extends to their streaming services and also the sharing of game development tech an obvious shot across the bow of Googles Stadia platform. How this unfolds further down the line though, is anyones guess right now. All the same, these are exciting times indeed; especially considering just how many games are on the PS Now service.
What we do know is that going forward, PS Now will be an increasingly stronger focus and it makes sense that PS5 would be included in that too. PlayStation Now, however functions pretty much the same as it did on PS4 allowing users to stream PS2, PS3 and PS4 games to the console. As before, the functionality to download PS4 games onto the PS5 console remains available too.
Ps5 Audio: Will The Ps5 Support Dolby Atmos
It seems unlikely the PS5 will support Dolby Atmos, at least for games. Again, the current crop of Xbox One consoles already outstrips the PS4 in the audio department, certainly on paper, with Sony’s consoles limited to 7.1 audio. Microsoft’s machines, on the other hand, both come with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio for gaming and for 4K Blu-ray playback.
PlayStations lead architect and console producer, Mark Cerny, has promised that the PS5 will herald a new gold standard in audio, but it looks as though the company is delivering this using new, bespoke technology.
At the end of the Sony’s March 2020 PS5 update, Cerny left his audience with the distinct feeling that the PS5 would not be supporting;Dolby Atmos. The PS5 will output native 3D audio using a newly-designed ‘Tempest Engine’ with Cerny stating that he wanted to include processing for far more than the 32 objects he claimed Dolby Atmos is limited to .
So how will PS5 3D audio be delivered? In all likelihood, the focus will be on headphones, at least initially. The newly announced Pulse 3D headset will almost certainly lead the charge here, but it’s also possible that the console itself will handle all of the processing and that standard headphones plugged into the DualSense controller’s headphone socket will also be able to deliver 3D audio.
Could the PS5 also be compatible with Sony’s own 360 Reality Audio format. It seems likely.

The PS5 is more expensive than the launch price of the PS4 and PS4 Pro, which both came in at $399.99, but they arrived seven and four years ago respectively now, and you’re getting a generational leap in hardware here for $100 more. The PS5 is still expensive, don’t get us wrong, but the jump in price does feel warranted for what youre getting.;

Eschewing the regular hard disk drives seen in the PS3 and PS4, the PS5 will use an ultra-fast SSD instead. How fast is it though? Well, it loads Insomniacs superb Spider-Man in just over 0.5 seconds an improvement that is some 19 times faster than what the PS4 Pro can achieve. So yeah, that fast. Sony have also patented a way for loading screens to be almost completely non-existent, so it seems like this new SSD will certainly figure into that.

Fall 2020 As Release Date
Now, the industry magazine Digitimes reports that a launch before the third quarter of 2020 is almost unlikely. The reason for this is the new processors, which are still far from being delivered. The site would like to know from an expert that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company will not be able to implement the 7 nm AMD chips until the third quarter of 2020. The third quarter begins on July 1 and ends on September 30.
Although this is not a confirmation of this release period, several industry experts have been in the past since a PlayStation 5 release for the fall of 2020.
As a result, it is quite possible that the next Sony console in November 2020 will come to an end. The launch of the PlayStation 3 was on November 11, 2006, while Playstation 4 On November 15, 2013, seven years later. Unreal Engine 5 Explained

On May 14, Epic Games unveiled the first real-time gameplay footage from a PlayStation 5 with the announcement of its Unreal Engine 5. The breathtaking video featured a tech demo called In The Land Of Nanite, which was run from a PlayStation 5 dev kit.

Will There Be A Playstation 5 Pro
As of right now, there is no PlayStation 5 Pro planned. The PlayStation 4 Pro was the first console of its kind for PlayStation, a sort of half step between console generations. Because a console like the Pro has only ever happened once in PlayStation history, there isnt any precedent to base the existence of a PS5 Pro on. There definitely wont be a PS5 Pro at launch, but there is still a chance a more powerful version of the PlayStation 5 could happen a few years down the line. As it stands right now, it isnt happening, but its still a possibility.

Ps5 Vs Ps5 Digital Edition
As mentioned above, there are two versions of the Sony PlayStation 5, with one coming in quite a bit cheaper. The two are more similar than Microsofts two new Xbox consoles, but choosing can still be difficult when making the purchase.
So, what is the difference between the PS5 and the PS5 Digital Edition? It all comes down to the missing optical drive and the price tag. The designs are also a little different because of the said disc drive. If were honest, the PS5 Digital Version looks a little better, as the bulge added by the drive throws off the devices symmetry.
Apart from that, the internals are identical. Youre still getting the same great load speeds and performance, unlike the cheaper Xbox Series S from Microsoft. However, its also $100 more expensive than the Series S.
So, should you get the PS5 Digital Edition over the standard model? If you honestly agree with the following statements, then yes:

- I dont already have a large library of game discs.
