You dont lose them, you can still use your OP8 gear its just level 80 and the card will reflect that once you level up to 80. At that point you will get the option to select OP level when you load into UVHM. Youll want to farm up some good OP8 gear before you try for OP 9 and 10, but you dont need to rerun the Peak to re-earn your OP status. Also, does the level cap increase on PS3? I guessed that because you cant get the new DLC on the older consoles that the cap wouldnt go up either.

We all know how vigilantly Gearbox has fought back against modding while neglecting to fix the actual broken code portions of the game. Its obvious what sections they stuck the JR developers on. Like the intensely broken online matching, or the broken infiniti weapons with the mechro, the broken Hoplite shield, lack of lag compensation. Despite all that the game is still sound in concept and brilliantly fun to play with vibrant colors!

With the loss of black weapons Dumb mod choice in the first place and the op55 fix theres not much left in ways of passing sanity checks on a non hacked ps3. Ive put some work into reversing some things and cracks, due to the EOL approaching in this game I may or may not proceed further with it. First plug in the Xbox 360’s hard drive and open it in xplorer360 . Open the following:

Then using the Hex Calculator, Enter the amount of space currently in the backpack and turn it into Hex. then search for that amount in the Hex code. Add “3-8 0” in front of it so that its easier to find once it has been located. Check that it is correct by looking at the ASCII text field, it should contain the first item in from the game itself. Replace the amount that should look like this: “00 0C” with “FF FF” if there were 48 item slots, “00 30” would be replaced with “FF FF”. Save the file and exit. Once that is completed, it will become necessary to rehash the file using a Hash Block Calculator. After that is done, simply drag and drop the file back onto the hard drive from the desktop. In-game backpack SDUs will not affect the mod.
