Your PlayStation 4 is constantly recording your gameplay in the background, just in case you want to save or share a clip. You can also quickly create screenshots with a single button-press.
Once youve captured video clips or screenshots, you can upload them immediately or copy them from your PS4s internal storage to a USB drive. Take that USB drive to a computer and you can do anything you want with the files.
Fix The Poor Internet Connection
Maybe the problem is a poor internet connection. Reset the connection and check if the echoing stops. This usually happens while playing online games due to weak signals, the ps4 mic echo. The same could be the reason for X-Box party chat echo. Fixing the internet might stop the Xbox headset from echoing.

How To Stream Gameplay On The Ps4
Streaming gameplay is very simple on the PS4. Streaming is started through the share menu. In order to use it, you will first need to link the PlayStation 4 up with a streaming network such as Twitch or YouTube. The setup wizard will guide you through this process. So long as you remember the password and username for the account, you wont have any issue getting connected.
From the share menu, click on the option to start broadcasting and it will present the different services you can stream to. Select one and you can enter some information that will appear on your streaming channel. Once you finish, you will start streaming right away!
Getting Your Video On Your Computer
First, plug your drive into one of the USB ports on the front of your PlayStation and navigate to the Capture Gallery. Select the video you want to transfer, then push the Options button. Using the menu that appears on the right side of the screen, select Copy to USB Storage Device.
Youll be taken back to the grid view of the Capture Gallery. You can select which items you want to copy to your USB drive by pressing X. The images and videos you select will be marked with a large check in a tick box above each item. Once youve selected everything you want to transfer, move to the right-side menu and select Copy. Hit OK on the next screen and everything youve selected will be transferred to your external drive.
Once you successfully transfer your videos to the external drive, take the USB drive out of your PS4. You can swap your video recording files to your computer simply by plugging your external drive into the USB port. Youll see a folder named PS4 pop up in your My Computer folder if youre using a Windows device. And if youre using a Mac, youll see it in Finder.
Once youre done with all of these steps, youll have the opportunity to share the recordings with others and edit them if necessary. Because they are in a simple .mp4 file format, you can edit them using standard video editing software.

Ps4 Version Turning The Game Recordings On And Off
I bought the new UFC last night. Cool enough game and all. Decent physics. The Fight Night guys know what they’re doing. There’s one this happening that’s driving me fucking crazy. So the PS4 is always recording… The game developers have the option to disable the recordings during parts of the game they do not want…. recorded. Mostly this happens on Video scenes. I assume to keep spoilers and videos from the game off of Youtube and the like. The problem is:
The Create a Fighter mode has a TON of videos. Your training guys talks to you, video. Dana White has something to tell you, video. You have a good fight and Bones Jones sends you a video. So every 10 seconds the PS4 is doing that ding sound and an overlay pops up saying “Game recording has been disable”… 10-45 seconds later it pops back up letting you know it’s re-enabled. It happens A LOT.
Maybe I’m being picky. Maybe it’s in my head. But it’s definitely annoying. Not sure if this is an issue on the Xbox One version, but I hope EA patches this… Maybe there’s a setting in the PS4 I’m missing.

Gta : How To Stop Recording Clips
GTA 5, apart from its usual chaotic and liberating open world, comes packed with a ton of other features that are extremely fun to experiment with. One such feature introduced in GTA 5 was the ability to record clips and edit them within the game itself.
This is different from Director Mode and can be accessed by simply using the Character Switch Menu. In GTA 5, after recording the clip, players can edit it to their liking in Rockstar Editor from the Pause Menu.
As opposed to recording gameplay and storing it on the hard drive, recording a clip using Rockstar Editor does not automatically create a video file on the drive. The process is extremely easy and players only need to access the Character Switch menu to stop/start recording a clip.

Playstation Responds To Privacy Concerns Over Party Voice Chat Recordings Following Ps4 Update
PlayStation has responded to privacy concerns that Sony is recording party voice chats following today’s PS4 update. In case you missed it, today, a big new PS4 software update released, and it immediately began to cause PlayStation users issues, and it’s even causing PSN issues. It’s been a mess for Sony, and one it almost certainly did not anticipate. Adding to this has been speculation that following the new update, your PS4 will record and log your party voice chats. While this speculation sounds absurd on the surface level, it wasn’t random. Following the update, PS4 users began to receive notifications about Party Safety and that voice chats in parties may be recorded. However, according to Sony, this is a feature for the PS5, and a feature players can turn off. In other words, false alarm.
“Following this update, users are seeing a notification about Party Safety and that voice chats in parties may be recorded,” said Sony. “Voice chat recording for moderation is a feature that will be available on PS5 when it launches and will enable users to record their voice chats on PS5 and submit them for moderation review. The pop up you’re seeing on PS4 right now is to let you know that when you participate in a chat with a PS5 user , they may submit those recordings from their PS5 console to SIE.”

How To Save A Screenshot Or Video
To save a screenshot or video in a game, just press the Share button on the left side of you controller, near the directional pad. The Share menu screen will appear. At any time, you can press the Circle button to leave this screen and go right back to where you were in the game.
In some cases, the Share menu may not work. You arent allowed to capture screenshots or record videos of certain video game cinematics or other applications, depending on how the game developer set things up. However, this will work almost all of the time.
When the share menu appears, you can select Save Screenshot by pressing the Triangle button or Save Video Clip by pressing the Square button. This will save a screenshot or video clip to your PlayStation.
Save a screenshot and your PS4 will capture the current screen. Save a video clip and your PS4 will save the last 15 minutes of your gameplay, which it was recording in the background all the while. Your PS4 saves only the last fifteen minutes of gameplay in a temporary buffer, so theres no getting any footage from more than fifteen minutes ago unless you already saved it to a video clip.
If youd like to upload your screenshot or video clip, select Upload Screenshot or Upload Video Clip here instead. You can share a screenshot via Facebook, Twitter, or a PlayStation message. You can upload a video to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Dailymotion.
Make Sure You Stop Your Ps5 From Automatically Recording Trophies
The PS5 doesnt have a lot of space, so you might not want it recording videos for all your trophies. Heres how you turn that off.
One of the features thats not openly advertised, but happens automatically, is how your PS5 treats the collection of trophies. As per usual, youll get a notification on screen every time you earn any trophy. Thats pretty standard for all PlayStation consoles in the modern age, so no surprises there.
However, whats a little less ideal is the fact that the console is set to automatically record the last 15 seconds of gameplay along with a screenshot every single time. But even if Sony doesnt openly tell you about this before quietly eating up precious space on your NVMe drive, you can turn it off pretty easily.
To find the option, youll want to head to Settings, then Captures and Broadcasts. From there youll have three options: Captures, Broadcasts and Trophies.
Scroll down to Trophies and youll see these three options on the right hand side:
If youre having troubles reading those buttons, just note that a filled in white circle means the buttons enabled. Scroll down to Save Trophy Videos and hit the X button. The circle should then move to the left, and the third option in the menu will disappear entirely.
Plenty of time to catch that perfect moment, but this way youre the one deciding when to eat up that precious hard drive space.

What Playstation’s New Voice Recording Warning Actually Means
In the blog update, Sony explained the PlayStation 5 Party system will allow users to record voice chats for submission to Sony moderation. This allows potential victims of harassment or other violations of the PlayStation Network’s policies to report their interactions with other party members. The voice recording feature will apparently only be available on PlayStation 5, but users on PS4 chatting with those on PS5 can still be recorded. Sony’s full statement reads as follows:
“Following this update, users are seeing a notification about Party Safety and that voice chats in parties may be recorded.
