Xbox Series X Restocks At Target
Target’s Xbox Series X restock strategy has changed pretty dramatically recently; the retailer’s new policy is that the Xbox Series X and S can now be sold as soon as inventory is available, rather than waiting for set drop dates. This means we’re now seeing Xbox Series X availability nearly every day at Target–however, this is only for certain locations with stock extremely limited. As such, you should make sure your zip code is updated before checking availability at Target. Both Order Pickup and Drive Up will be available for online orders, but no in-store console purchases are allowed.

Best Buy restocked the Xbox Series X and Series S online on July 14. The retailer most recently restocked the Xbox Series S on July 29. While Best Buy didn’t have any consoles on store shelves around launch, recent restocks have sometimes included an option for in-store pickup. The latest restock was the fourth time Best Buy replenished its stock this month.

Latest: PS5 restocks have been very slow this week. According to , we can expect a restock at Game between 14-16th September, and at Argos 14-17th September after 8am. Though as always it is not guaranteed to be this week. This follows availability at AO, ShopTo and Studio in this week. In the US, PS5 digital consoles were briefly in stock at Target. When Will Xbox Series X
Microsoft initially said that Xbox Series X|S stock would be “constrained through at least June,” but it’s looking like consoles will be in short supply all summer long. Microsoft hasn’t shared an update on the stock situation for several months, though, and Xbox shortages will likely continue for some time due to the global chip shortage. The widespread semiconductor shortage is affecting several different industries, including console production as well as cars and other tech. The shortage has been “steadily worsening since last year,” according to The Guardian, and shows no sign of improving right now.

On the Playstation.com website console Pre-Orders were invite only. Invitations opened 9/18/2020 at 10AM PT and we confirmed that the process worked for many but not for all. The window was open until 10AM Pt on 9/19/2020. Playstation is selling Games and accessories in their website store. Burger King and Doritos were some of the retailers giving away the PS5 to a very small number of random winners.

As we inch closer to the holiday season–the second holiday season after the PS5’s launch–it remains difficult to find the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital. Restocks at major retailers tend to sell out in minutes, and consoles are made available so sporadically that it’s hard to get a read on when the next big restock will happen. It’s been more than 10 months since the PS5 launched, but hopefully stock will begin to stabilize in the coming months. It does seem unlikely that consoles will be readily available throughout the holiday season, though. Both consoles also have a disc drive-less, cheaper sibling: that’s the Xbox Series S and the PS5 Digital Edition. This is where things get really interesting, because the Xbox Series S costs only £250 , whereas the PS5 Digital Edition is £360 .
That’s a big step up, but it’s worth pointing out that the Xbox Series S is less powerful than the Series X but the PS5 Digital Edition is identical to the standard PS5 except for the lack of a disc drive. In other words, the PS5 Digital Edition appears to be more of a proper next-gen games console than the Xbox Series S.;

Since NBA games publisher 2K announced the $70 price for its sports sim NBA 2K21, the consensus has been that there’s a PS5 games hike coming across the board.
That raises the standard by $10 from $60 which seems uncomfortable in the face of what many consider a fairly expensive games console full stop.

Where To Buy A Ps5 In Australia: Keep Checking These Stores For Playstation 5 Stock

PS5 is upon us, although most stores have extremely limited stock, so act fast at these retailers.
We’re well into September and buying a PS5 in Australia is still super hard. It’s probably not going to get better this month, but the best you can do is keep trying: While stock allocations are rare they do happen, so you’ll need to stay vigilant, as stock is likely to remain low for the rest of 2021. When stock does appear, it tends not to last long, though we have our fingers crossed there will be a bit of a megadrop in the lead up to Christmas.
So yeah, PS5 stock replenishment is a fairly scattershot affair in Australia. Some retailers have been known to provide a few days advance notice, such as what Big W did in February , but more often than not they just appear. If there’s a local bricks-and-mortar store near you, it might be worth joining their waiting list, if they have one.
But the sad reality is that you’ll probably need to check the PS5 pages on each retailer’s site manually if you want a console right now: all relevant retailers are listed below. We’ll also update the top of this page occasionally when we get advance warning of a drop.
