PlayStation 5 consoles will be available online at UK retailer Game on Thursday morning.
The company didnt specify what time the consoles will be available, although its recent PS5 restocks have gone live at around 11am BST.
Customers who choose Games priority insured delivery method will have their orders shipped by October 25, with all other delivery method orders shipped by October 29.

Still, it’s worth checking PS Direct often, as it’s the only store still releasing the PS5 on a somewhat regular basis. However, the queues appear to also be somewhat random.
Note that finding a queue on PS Direct doesn’t necessarily mean the PS5 is in stock it simply indicates high traffic to the store. It’s been a great week for getting a PS5.
The next PS5 restock from PlayStation Direct is today, starting at 11 a.m. PT , according to emails sent to those in the Sony waiting line. This is the third PS5 restock from PlayStation Direct this week, and the available window today will be five hours long. In the past, everyone who received a PS5 restock email had three hours to make their purchases before any remaining consoles were made available to the public.

To get your PS5 in an actual store, GameStop will have consoles for you this Friday. The retailer announced stores in the following cities will have a PS5 restock in-store:
- Boston
- Miami
- Phoenix
If you live in one of these cities and you want to confirm there’s an in-store PS5 restock happening near you, GameStop has offered this page to search for availability in your area.
If you don’t want to camp out in front of a store and you miss today’s restock, there are a couple of ways to get an early heads-up for online availability. The Best Buy Totaltech subscription service and GameStop’s PowerUp Rewards Pro systems have been offering early access to the next PS5 restock as long as you pay for either service. Meanwhile, PlayStation Direct just made it easier to register for the waiting queue to help deal with bots and resellers.

One of the unfortunate things about depending on PlayStation Direct for a PS5 is the waiting. The way this system has worked so far, it seems there is a restock on PlayStation Direct once a month. Whenever a restock is approaching, select PSN members will get an email invitation with an exclusive link to enter a private queue. These emails can be unpredictable, so there’s really no telling when in the month they will come. It may seem somewhat excessive, but it’s all in an effort to make sure the people who actually want a PS5 can get one.

Weve seen a slew of restocks at US retailers too, with some even letting customers purchase in-store, like Best Buy.
GameStop is pegged for an in-store restock this Friday, October 22 in fact, across a handful of cities.
Walmart has a number of bundles available now but theyre not cheap.
As we barrel towards Black Friday, we expect a number of retailers to release their inventory over the holiday.
And some are even offering early access to their PS5 stock drops as part of a paid service.
Walmart+ is giving early access to its Black Friday deals, while GameStops PowerUp Rewards Pro specifically gives you first dibs on new consoles.
Meanwhile, Best Buys pricey Totaltech gives exclusive access to hard-to-find tech products. But beware of using it to get a PS5 and trying to cancel ad refund the membership.

Of note, Amazon issued an update on September 21st with a new message on its PS5 page. Amazon Prime customers will have priority access to the PlayStation 5 until September 21, 2021, the message reads. That indicates that moving forward, anyone can get consoles when theyre restocked. Previously, inventory was prioritized for Prime members.
If you visit either of those PS5 listings right now, however, youll immediately notice that they have one thing in common. Thats right, theyre both sold out. If you click the See All Buying Options on the PlayStation 5 listing, youll see that there are some used consoles in stock. Of course, it goes without saying that not everyone wants to buy a used video game console.
