A good Dropkick, in both video games, real life, and Gang Beasts, involves a jump, lead by your feet. Nice and easy, when you think about it like that, but people have got it wrong before. The process is pretty similar in Gang Beasts, but you have to line your shot up perfectly.
In order to perform a Dropkick you should press Jump , followed by Kick immediately after. You should, of course, walk or run into this motion to make it more effective. If you’re performing a Dropkick for the first time, you should receive an achievement or trophy once you land this move on an opponent.
But there’s more to Dropkicks than just actually dropkicking people, believe it or not. There are multiple Dropkick variations, which we will outline below. Some of these can result in much more power, but are difficult to pull off if you have enemies grabbing you.
Almost all attacks have a “Super” variation, and so does the Dropkick. In order to perform the Super Dropkick, you’ll need to run forward – which can be done by holding Jump while moving – Jump, hold the Kick button, and then press the Headbutt button while you’re in the air and about the make contact with your opponent. It sounds complicated, but once you get used to it, it’s fine.
If you need time to practice these moves, you can enter a game of Football by yourself – a bit lonely, yes, but it allows you the space to practice the actions in the game without being disturbed, which is nice.
