When you upgrade from one PS4 to another, youre faced with the problem of transferring your data from the old PS4’s internal drive to the new console. If youve taken advantage of the recent update that enabled external storage for the PS4, you also have to move the external drive that was formatted and tagged as Extended Storage on the old PS4. Transferring the external drive couldnt be easier, transferring the data between the internal drives takes a bit more work. Heres how to do both.
