Each game in the series lets the player to assume the role of the criminal in the massive city, and plan to raise through the tanks by fulfilling the dirty jobs of other gangsters and earn money. A huge game series, with a lot of hours to sink into. I included the whole series because there are 2 installments: Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin 2. They are both genius games, inspired by classical Role-Playing Games. The story and world created by the developers Larian Studios are stunning and very interesting. You get to choose your class, race, and it will all impact the story.
The biggest takeaway from the game is how much impact you have on the game. You can finish the quest in various ways, either peacefully, aggressively, or creatively. There is a number of ways to finish any main and side quest that reward you for your ideas, and if you think that logically something should work, it probably will. One of the best series I have ever played and Local Co-Op just adds to it.
