Either way, now that we’ve had official confirmation from Sony about what to expect from July , we’ve been mulling it over and we’ve come to a conclusion this really is a fairly good month for the subscription service. Especially as the PS Plus Essentials package acts as something of an advert for PS Premium and the other tiers, at this point.
To recap, the games you’ll be able to download from July 5 are: Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time , The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan , and Arcadegeddon for . You have until July 4 to grab June’s line-up of games.
Ps Plus July 2022 Leaks & Rumors
There havent been may leaks for PS Plus in recent months, but that all changed this past weekend when a reliable leaker posted the three July titles. The list sounds legit, but since its a leak and not an official announcement, you should take it with a grain of salt.
The three leaked titles are:
- Crash Bandicoot 4: Its About Time
- The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan
These all sound like the exact types of games Sony would release on PS Plus. Crash Bandicoot 4 has been out for a while, and its a nice premium AAA platformer that should make lots of subscribers happy.
Arcadegeddon is a multiplayer shooter that actually releases on July 5th, the day these PS Plus titles go live, so that definitely fits. The only weird entry is The Dark Pictures: Man Of Medan which is already offered for free for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. I guess sometimes thats bound to happen.
Beyond this leak there are no rumors to speak of, so well leave it at that.

Playstation Plus Free Games For July Available Today With Two Bonuses

The schedule got a little wonky due to the fact that July started on a Tuesday, but w should be getting the new free games for PlayStation Plus any moment now. Theyre set to unlock for players on July 7, and its a big one, at least for Sony: this is the 10th anniversary of the free game program, though the company isnt really giving away any major first-party titles to mark the program. Still, there are some solid titles in the mix, as well as two bonuses: one strange, and one small.
These will be made available on July 7, lets look at what were getting:
NBA 2K: The premiere basketball sim in the industry: if you want to play a basketball game, this is the basketball game you want to play. Its especially valuable right now, considering the absolute strangeness going on with real world NBA. Its also got an open-world neighborhood mode, the story-based mycareer, and plenty of other stuff to pass the time.
Erica: Heres the first bonus, which, to be honest, I dont know too much about. It seems cool, though, so lets look at Sonys description:

With the introduction of the PS Plus free games for December, the free PS Plus games for November 2022 will leave the service on December 6 . Note: games dont have to be downloaded just added to your PlayStation games library before they exit.

The list of titles for July 2022 is led by Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, two very different experiences for a slightly cooler summer.

There are still many classic PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3 games missing from the PS Plus Premium library, so hopefully there will be many more updates to come.
Of course, those signed up for the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers also have access to the monthly free PS Plus games. And unlike the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers, the monthly free games can be kept forever, assuming one stays signed up for the PS Plus service. The free PS Plus games for July 2022 are Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, and day one game Arcadegeddon, all available to claim right now.
Regardless, fans can count on Sony adding a lot more games to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers than it removes, and there should be plenty of big additions in the months ahead.

If youve not yet done it, then head on over to your PlayStation device of choice to redeem the free games that are made available each month to PlayStation Plus Essential and higher tier subscribers.
This months games leaked out before being confirmed, something that seems to happen quite regularly now. Its also the kind of month where users on PS5 are treated to two games instead of one, asArcadegeddonlaunched through PS Plus today.
The other two games to grab are Crash Bandicoot 4: Its About Time and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan, the latter of which is the one PS4 only title.
Whether or not you intend to play any of these titles, its always good to redeem them.
If you ever feel like youd want to try them out somewhere in the future, better to be able to just download it as part of your subscription, than to have to consider purchasing it at full cost.

Playstation Plus Free Games: December 2021
Godfall: Challenger Edition Godfall is a looter-slasher action RPG set in a high fantasy world. Players take on the role of one of the last exalted Knight’s Order, with the aim of stopping a major apocalyptic event. Godfall offers plenty of weapon classes, armor sets and enemies to take down to keep you riveted. The Challenger Edition of the game offers three end-game modes: Lightbringer, Dreamstones, and the Ascended Tower of Trials.
