Removing Users From Your Account Manually
This is the only way to directly remove people from your friends list without affecting any other data. This option isnt as obvious as some users would want it to be, so it might be hard to find at first. Heres what to do:
Once you do this, you wont see the persons updates anymore, nor will they be able to see yours. Depending on the reason for removing them, there are other options that you can use. How To Delete Friends On Ps4
Not all friendships last forever, including those on the PlayStation Network. If you’d like to remove someone from your PS4 Friends list, take these steps.
Select Friends, located along the PS4 UI bar and represented by two smiling faces.
In the Friends interface, select All Friends from the left menu pane.
Highlight and select the name of the friend that you wish to remove.

Blocking a user on PSN is more restrictive, ensuring you and the blocked user can’t send messages or friend requests or see each other’s online status.
Blocked users are also prevented from sending game sessions and invitations and can no longer leave comments on any of your PSN content, and vice versa.

Whatever the reason, managing users on your friends list is a pretty simple task, albeit slightly convoluted, as each user has to be managed individually and there isnt a way to bulk remove users .
To get started, youll first need to jump into your friends list. This should be the third entry in the action bar.
From there, look through your friends list until you find the person you want to remove. Click on their name in the list to bring up their profile.
