Fortnite Event Start Time

The Fortnite Chapter 3 finale, Fracture, will be a one-time-only event that begins today, . As usual, the playlist to get into the event will open up 30 minutes beforehand, and it’s recommended you get there early to reserve your spot. I’ve not heard of anyone being denied entry to similar Fortnite events due to server overload, and Epic seems hellbent on ensuring it can always house every single player who tries to attend, but just in case, getting there early is a good idea.

Typically these events last for about 12-15 minutes and unfold almost like live theater that each player experiences firsthand as a direct participant in the plot. Curiously, Epic noted that players who arrive late can join the event in progress until as late as 40 minutes after it begins, implying this event may go on much longer, or perhaps some element of the event will stay accessible for a while after until servers eventually go offline.

For those who wish to play with a group, squads of up to four can load into the event together, and if you have less than a full squad, an event-specific emote will be enabled that will allow you to party-up with other players running around in your instance but not yet in your party.

Any players who log into Fortnite between December 2 and the event will also receive a new free emote called Toasty Roast, which depicts one’s character roasting marshmallows over a campfire.

The new wingsuit combined with the parachute, is a powerful new tool to help you traverse the massive open world.

Will There Ever Be Just Cause 4 Multiplayer

In todays world of patches, updates, and DLC, there is certainly a never-say-never attitude when it comes to potential new features being added to games after launch. This is especially true of Just Cause 4. While there wont be any multiplayer in Just Cause 4 at launch, there is always the chance that it will come to the game at a later date, be it as an official add-on or via a PC-only mod. Both Just Cause 2 and 3 had successful multiplayer mods developed a while after launch, after all, and these proved so popular that one of the lead designers of the Just Cause 3 multiplayer mod was hired by Avalanche Studios just in time to work on Just Cause 4.

So, with fingers crossed, we might just see a Just Cause 4 multiplayer mode come to the game at some point in the future.

The Long Awaited Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod Finally Hits Steam Later This Week

Nanos GbR is finally ready to release its Just Cause 3 multiplayer mod, six months after the modding team released the first beta build to the public, and we couldnt be more excited. We were already big fans of Rico Rodriguezs latest adventure and now fans can shoot, race and fly across Medici with up to 100 friends and strangers from the Just Cause 3 community.

The good news is the Just Cause 3 multiplayer mod will be released on Thursday, July 20. Players will be able to connect to servers that support up to 100 users and explore the island of Medici together. The multiplayer mod wont support NPCs or AI, so youll definitely want to find a server with other users on it, and you cant change your player model yet. So keeping tabs on your friends might get rough if/when large groups are nearby. Nanos also says theyre planning to add Steam achievements in the future, and experienced mod makers can already script their own custom game modes, races, etc to be used in JC3 multiplayer.

The bad news is the Just Cause 3 multiplayer mod wont be as feature-complete as nanos was hoping at launch. The team says its already working on version 1.1, which will include many of the features which had to be pulled from this weeks build. But theres no word on when the next iteration of the JC3 multiplayer mod will be ready. It probably wont take another 18-plus months. But it could be late 2017 before Just Cause 3 players are tethering each other to planes, boats and automobiles.

Fans of Avalanche’s Just Cause 2 wanted multiplayer in the game so badly that they actually built a multiplayer mod for it themselves, which has proven to be quite popular. Despite the popularity of the multiplayer mod for Just Cause 2, Avalanche previously stated that there will be no official multiplayer for Just Cause 3, a stance the company has now elaborated on.

Basically, Avalanche decided to focus on creating a high quality single player experience, as opposed to developing single player and multiplayer simultaneously. The studio felt that a robust social experience could still be accomplished in Just Cause 3 even without multiplayer, through things like the Twitch streaming functionality of the new-gen consoles, leaderboards, and with the numerous Challenge Modes that will be in the game.

Game director Ronald Lesterlin explained Avalanche’s thought process behind not including multiplayer in Just Cause 3 as part of a recent interview with GameSpot:

“We did talk about a lot. The modding community even created a multiplayer mod for Just Cause 2 that was super fun, really cool. The same way that Just Cause 2 was known as a beautiful sandbox in a giant open world, and it surprised many people that consoles could even do that, we wanted to have that same experience… with updated physics and player mechanics, and concentrate first and foremost in the main player.”

Just Cause 3 will be available on December 1st for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod Now Available In Beta

In 2012 Just Cause 2 fans collectively assembled an incredible mod that allowed 600-player multiplayer in Avalanche Studios’ open-world action game. This mod was so successful that the developer gave the fan-made addition its blessing and earlier this summer Avalanche hired its lead architect, Cameron Foote. This meant that Foote and co.’s development on a multiplayer mod for Just Cause 3 shut down, but another fan collective, Nanos Team, has been working on a similar mod for Avalanche’s latest, which just released its first beta build.

The unfiltered chaos that is the Just Cause multiplayer mod, will finally be making its way to Just Cause 3 next week.

Nanos GbR, the team responsible for the mod, has officially set a release date. The Just Cause 3 multiplayer mod will be out on July 20, and anyone can grab it through Steam for free.

The mod has been in development since the launch of the game, but the first big milestone was the release of the beta back in December. If you’re unfamiliar, the mod brings multiplayer to the single-player-only game, but it does so in a way that’s unlike any other multiplayer game.

The mod allows a large number of payers to be on the same server, organising activities such as deathmatch, racing, dogfights, or simply free-roaming and getting into trouble with others. This iteration also allows for game mode creation, which is really where the Just Cause 2 mod was at its best.

It’s usually a bit broken, and often unbalanced, but you won’t find the same brand of anarchy anywhere else.

All you need is a copy of the game, and you’re set.

Just Cause 3 Adds Multiplayer With This Free New Mod

A mod introducing multiplayer support to open-world action game Just Cause 3 is now available on PC.

Known as JC3:MP, the mod allows for hundreds of players to join together on a single server to play competitively or cooperatively. You can explore and destroy the world together, or take part in races, deathmatch, and other activities. Here’s a trailer released last month, when the mod first entered beta:

Work on the mod has not yet been completed an FAQ states a Steam release will eventually happen. For now, you’ll simply need to and run the new launcher. System requirements are no different from those of the base game you’ll only need a copy of the game on Steam to play.

It previously looked as if multiplayer would not happen for Just Cause 3. In 2014, the team behind the incredibly fun Just Cause 2 multiplayer mod announced a follow-up for Just Cause 3. It was then canceled last summer when lead developer Cameron Foote announced he had been hired by series developer Avalanche Studios. As such, development on his mod, named JC3-MP, ceased. The unrelated JC3:MP project now takes its place.
