Sonys newest firmware update for the PlayStation 4 makes it possible to use the PS4 Remote Play app on all Android phones, allowing you to stream gameplay from a PS4 to a phone.
Remote Play has been around for some time, but until now it had been limited to Sony Xperia phones and iOS, and setting it up works the same way on other Android phones. To run Remote Play, you need to make sure your phone is updated to at least version 5.0 , and that your PS4 has the newest firmware, version 7.0. The firmware just launched publicly this week, so chances are you will need to update.
Once the PS4 is updated, go into settings and head to Remote Play Connection Settings make sure that youve check the box marked Enable Remote Play. You also want to go to Power Save Settings, then Set Features Available in Rest Mode. Make sure to check the boxes for Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning on of PS4 from Network. These will make sure the PS4 doesnt disable the stream if it goes to sleep, and allow you to wake the PS4 using the Remote Play app if you need to.

Seems Ive found the issue to why the remote play wasnt working away from home when Im at work, for those having issues , make sure your router is in AP mode also google the ports that need to be forwarded for Ps remote play and set up port forwarding on your home admin Wifi , give your PS4 a static IP that is available to prevent it from changing when you restart your PS4 before setting up port forwarding , disable PS vita network settings . And the part no one told me about not even google is that at the second location find the ip address your phone is using , go into the Wifi admin once in the settings enable DMZ mode and put in the private IP address you found for your mobile phone )In the PS4 remote play app reduce the graphics settings and try to connect to your PlayStation that is in REST MODE at home from work , this will take 2-4 failed connections if your PS4 is not on Ethernet n is below 60% Wifi signal strength, but it should work afterwards running as smoothly as if the PlayStation was right in front of you at work .

How To Enable Ps4 Remote Play
The first step in using PS4 Remote Play to access your PS4 from anywhere in the world is to enable remote access to your PS4. To do this, turn on your PS4 and head to Settings > Remote Play Connection Settings and make sure the Enable Remote Play checkbox is ticked.
Your console should also be set up as your Primary PS4 to be able to remotely access your favourite games its not mandatory, but makes the setup process much easier. Its something that many wouldve activated during the initial setup of the PS4, but just in case you havent already, head to Settings > PlayStation Network/Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4 and select Activate.
Finally, youll want to allow Remote Play to power on the PS4 when its in Rest mode you dont want to leave your PS4 on all the time, do you? To enable the option, just head to Settings > Power Save Settings > Set Features Available in Rest Mode and make sure Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning On PS4 from Network are both enabled.

Sony has finally added support for all Android devices running Android 5.0 and above for its PS4 Remote Play app. The functionality was this far exclusive to Xperia devices before being expanded to support iOS back in March.
