What Is Fortnite For Nintendo Switch Like
Nintendo says that weekly updates and new gameplay modes will keep the action fresh “for seasoned Fortnite players and newcomers alike”.
Epic Games could add Save the World to the Switch version at a later date, but the developer says there are no current plans. You can, of course, play Battle Royale from the get-go.
The Switch release is playable both in portable and docked mode, so offers the best of both worlds.
Nintendo also showed off new footage of Super Smash Bros Ultimate on Nintendo Switch that enables up to eight players to take part in action-packed battles.

Things I Dont Like About Fortnite Save The World
Loot Llama xRay: I am not a fan of paid lootboxes, and while I do not think they are the 8th sign of the apocalypse, I can see how they could trigger latent gambling tendencies in some individuals however, the loot box x-ray trend is just stupid.
The whole point of a loot box is not knowing what you will get once you incorporate x-ray functionally, you might as well drop lootboxes altogether and sell the items directly it feels like a cheesy way to avoid being called P2W, and honestly, if this were a PvP game I would agree with that assessment.
RNG Upon RNG: Fortnite Save the World is a great game to play casually, but due to the RNG nature of rewards trying to unlock a particular variation of a schematic is very frustrating and will frustrate those who wish to play it in a more hardcore manner.
AFK Players: If there were an award given to game communities where vast amounts of players go AFK and leech off others, it would go to Fortnite Save the World most matches have at least one player who sits down or dances while going AFK and leaving the fighting to the rest of the team.
These players, however, are nothing compared to trolls who deliberately edit holes in your defences to cause the team to lose points, there are good players in Fortnite Save the World, but there are some truly awful ones who deserve temporal band at least.

How Many People Are Playing Fortnite Right Now
Most of the statistics we have available from the Fortnite player count relate to total players or one or two large peaks. But a bigger question would be how many are playing Fortnite at any given time? This is considerably harder to work out. Epic doesnt even give out monthly active user figures, let alone near-constant figures.
There are some websites that claim to be able to track the total number of Fortnite players at any one time, like Playercounter.com/fortnite. You should take this with a grain of salt though. Much like Fortnite trackers, these pages work by reading certain data and filing in the blanks. It isnt a particularly accurate measurement.
We wont ever get exact data of the Fortnite player count live, but we safely assume it hasnt come above the 12.5 million players active during in 2019.

Rewards Gameplay Loop: Fortnite Save the World offers very engaging gunplay and the chance to build the type of buildings that would be torn to shred in Fortnite Battle Royale. Its the more creative of the two modes and very enjoyable to play.

Is The Fortnite Player Count Dropping
The player base of Fortnite might be dropping, but if it is then only steadily. Fortnite is a game that thrives on constant renewal. What comes with this is a fairly healthy cycle of players coming in and out. Fortnite has had seasons with a significantly lower player count followed up by considerably more popular ones.
The opening of Chapter 2 brought a lot of players, new and old, back to Fortnite after its spark had dulled a little.
