¿Qué es el crossplay?
El crossplay es una característica jugable que permite a los jugadores disfrutar de un videojuego independiente de la consola o plataforma. Como activar el crossplay en Fall Guys
Para jugar entre plataformas en ‘Fall Guys’ deberás de cumplir ciertos pasos, nada complicados, pero sí que son obligatorios para poder jugar con amigos entre las diferentes plataformas, tanto consolas como PC.
1. Verifica tu nombre de Epic Games y vincula la cuenta en consola
2. Para jugar con amigos en consola necesitarás que hayan vinculado previamente su perfil. A partir de ahí sólo necesitas que te añadan con su perfil
3. Por supuesto necesitarás tener activada la opción de Juego Cruzado: Dirígete a Opciones y selecciona “Matchmaking multiplataforma”.

While knowing how to enable and disable cross-play is highly useful, what if you specifically want to play with certain friends from another platform?
To specifically add a friend from another platform:
- Select the bottom-right icon for the Friends.
- This will open up a menu for you that displays all your current friends on your platform as well as a search bar at the top of the menu.
- To search for a friend on another platform, enter your friend’s platform-universal Epic Games account username into the search bar and click Add Friend.
- With a specific friend account added, you can then use the same Friends menu at any point to highlight their account and hit Invite to ask them to join your lobby and play Fall Guys together.

How To Play Cross
The iconic game Fall Guys is now free for all. Since the game is available on PC , PS4, PS5, XBOX X, XBOX S and Switch, chances are your friends may not be playing the same version as you. To play cross-platform, you need to activate the feature. To do this, you need to go to the Settings menuYou will find this information in the top right-hand corner of your screen on the main menu.
In the new page, you must select the Options submenu.
After clicking on the latter, you should get the following screen:
Scroll down to the bottom of the panel to the Game section. The line you are interested in is entitled : Universal game search. If it is not already set to “Yes”, change it.
From there, all you have to do is start a game and you will automatically fall in with players from different platforms.
If you want to enjoy the game with your friends, you must go back to the main menu and click on the button with 3 small heads and a “+”.at bottom right.
You will arrive on the list of friends. All you have to do is click on invite next to the nickname of the person in question and that’s it!

When Will Fall Guys Get Crossplay
The lack of crossplay has been a challenge during the games open Beta. Theres a limit to the number of free Beta keys that Mediatonic can give out for PS4, meaning that the servers have been frustratingly quiet compared to the PC servers.
This wont be a problem once the game launches on August 4, as its inclusion as a free game for PS Plus subscribers means that the servers will be nice and busy.
This being the case, if Fall Guys proves to be a popular game on PC as well as PS4, and if enough people beg for cross platform play, this feature might eventually get added to the game.
At first, though, be warned that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will not allow cross platform play.

Tal y como lo describen en el Tweet de su cuenta oficial en español, la Temporada 4.5 de Fall Guys no solamente traerá consigo el esperado Crossplay, si no que también se han añadido dos nuevos escenarios, y a los 12 ya existentes se le han agregado 55 nuevas variantes, y también los jugadores tendrán salas personalizadas.
Por el momento el sistema de Crossplay estará sólo disponible entre Playstation 4 y PC, pero como se mencionó en anteriores entrevistas el foco será, que cuando Fall Guys llegue a Xbox y Nintendo Switch, estas versiones debuten con el sistema integrado y así todos los jugadores puedan estar interconectados.

What About My Crowns Shards And Kudos
Any Fame Path level progress, Crowns, Shards or Kudos will be carried over from your primary profile only. These rewards cannot be merged with Crowns, Shards and Kudos from your other accounts, so if you have Crowns or Kudos to use on another account, make sure you make the most of them in the store before our Season 6 launch in Fall Guys. All leftover Crowns or Kudos on platforms other than your primary profile will not be transferred once you merge.
Fall Guys Cross Progression: How To Link Your Epic Games Account
When you first launch Fall Guys, you’ll be asked to create an Epic Games account or sign into a pre-existing one.
- To link your accounts, you’ll need to .
- Now, hover over your name and select ‘Accounts.
- From here, select ‘Connections’ and then the second ‘Accounts’ tab.
- You can now connect your Steam, Xbox, PlayStation Network, and Nintendo accounts.
- A pop up window will appear for each connection, and you will be asked to sign into that account in order to connect them.
It’s also worth noting that the first account you link to your Epic Games account will be your primary account. You will not be able to unlink this particular account in Fall Guys without reaching out to Mediatonic support directly, so select your first connection carefully.

The Party Just Got Bigger
The obstacle course-royale Fall Guys is bringing its platforms much closer together. Today, Mediatonic launched a new update that will let PC and PlayStation players play Fall Guys in full cross-platform lobbies.
While cross-platform play was previously possible in Fall Guys with Custom Shows, this new update expands it out to all playlists. This means you can now team up across platforms to compete in the online playlists, ranging from Squads and Duos to the classic Main Show.
It works by linking your Epic account to the Fall Guys service. Once youre hooked in, anyone on your PlayStation, Epic, or Steam friends list should show up. You can find more info on linking the accounts here.
Todays update also comes with an update on the Xbox and Switch versions of Fall Guys. While its still in the works, Mediatonic says it is comingjust not with this update.
Theres also a new game type on the way, and this update adds a few fixes and patches too. Even after the summer of its breakout success, Fall Guys is still tumbling on with new content.
Its a bummer the extra platforms are still seemingly a ways off. In the meantime, though, at least the player base wont be so split across current platform lines. Cross-progression was already pretty handy, but full cross-platform Fall Guys parties are nice for those who dont want to download a game twice or swap consoles around for a quick match with pals.

Connecting Your Fall Guys Account
This is a step that’s more intended for newer Fall Guys players. When Epic Games bought out the developer of Fall Guys, Mediatonic, it made it mandatory for every Fall Guys player to have an Epic Games account. Without an Epic Games account, you won’t be able to log in and play Fall Guys. If you’ve played the game prior to the launch of Season 1, then you will already have an account with Epic Games, so those players can skip this step.
For newer players, you will be prompted to create an Epic Games account upon downloading Fall Guys for the first time. You can either do this through the prompts that will appear on your system or go straight to the Epic Games Store website. If you do it through the website directly, look at the top right of the screen and you’ll see a box that says “sign in.” Click that box and scroll down until you see the option to make a new account. Either way you do it, you’ll need to register an active email address and create a password. You can also create an account using other methods, such as using Steam, Facebook, etc. Pick whatever method is easiest for you.
Once an Epic Games account has been created, you can use it to sign into Fall Guys on your desired system.

Fall Guys: How To Invite Cross
To invite cross-platform friends in Fall Guys, you first need to add them as friends on your Epic Games account. Youll log in or create an account the first time you load up Fall Guys on any platform .
Once youre logged in, open the Epic Games social panel on the right-hand side of the main menu. The input for this is different on each platform.
- PC: Shift + F3
- Xbox: View button
- Switch: Minus button
Here youll see all your friends on your current platform and those added to your Epic Games account.
If youre not already friends, enter your cross-platform friends Epic Games account name in the search bar at the top of the menu. When you see their account on the list, hit the Add Friend button next to it.
If they have sent you an invite, youll want to swap to the Friend Requests page . Here you can choose to accept or decline any friend requests youve received.
Once youve added them, you can now invite cross-platform friends in Fall Guys. You can do this directly from the social panel by selecting the Invite button next to their account name.
Alternatively, you can open the invite page from the main menu by selecting the Open Party option in the bottom left corner of the screen . Choose Invite and youll open the Epic Games social panel on your friends list. Again, select Invite next to their name. When you receive an invite, follow the prompt in the top right corner of the screen to open the social panel and accept the invitation.

Fall Guys is crossplay and thus has cross platform multiplayer between PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
All consoles support cross platform multiplayer, but you can turn the feature off. As for how online gameplay works, you will be asked to create an Epic Games account when first signing in.
If you own a PS5, you will be able to download a new PS5 version of the game on June 21st. Everyone whos owned the game on PlayStation or PC before the free-for-all launch on June 21st will also be rewarded with a Legacy Pack.
