Are you after a PS5 pre order? Sometimes, once retailers have confirmed a shipment of PS5 consoles, they will open up orders and pre orders to the general public, meaning that you can have an extra chance to get a PS5 console, but youll simply just have to wait for it to arrive. Considering its already been over a year since the PS5 launched, you will probably be happy to wait slightly longer in order to make your decision, as pre ordering a unit might give you a better chance to secure a console than you would have had otherwise.

John Lewis & Partners last had a PS5 drop at 7am on 3 November. As usual with the retailer, it didnt last very long, but it does always seem to drop at 7am like clockwork.
The retailer only appears to get a couple of thousand consoles or less each time new stock comes in, so were not expecting anything big the next time theres a drop. When it happens, we recommend checking out via the app people have seen more success through this method.

This is a very cute controller cradle produced by Sony, but it doesnt do anything beyond reducing the number of cables you need to have laying around. If thats important to you, the Charging Station costs $30. And if thats too rich, you can be sure Amazon will be filled with dozens of cheaper third-party options that do the exact same thing soon.

How Much Will Ps5 Pre
The question of how much the PS5 will cost is, due to Sony’s information releases so far, still in question. PlayStation’s Mark Cerney said in 2019 the PS5’s price would be “appealing to gamers,” but things may have changed since then. An analysis firm predicted next-gen consoles would be more expensive than expected, priced between $450 and $500. Another report citing anonymous sources familiar with PlayStation’s plans said the PS5 could be even more expensive, with a limited run of consoles produced at launch, sold for between $499 and $549.
While official pre-orders from Sony and large retail chains aren’t yet available, some small game stores have put up controversial, “IOU”-like pre-orders for cheaper than these predicted prices. A Canadian shop called Play N Trade Vancouver Island offered offered PS5 pre-orders back in March, charging just $559.99 CAD . When questioned about the price, the store said, “If the price changes it will be adjusted at final sale.” Buyers may want to take caution when making these kinds of pre-orders – especially with the PS5’s apparently limited run at launch – but they’re likely available at other local game stores that plan to stock PS5s.
When Will The Ps5 Be Back In Stock In The Uk
Since PS5 pre-orders went live in September last year, gamers have been grappling to get their hands on the Sony console. Both the Disc and Digital Editions of the PS5 console have been plagued with stock issues. Well over half a year later, the console is sold out across UK retailers.
When there is stock, retailers sell out within minutes of going live. There are even Twitter accounts such as PS5 Stock Alert UK that inform gamers of when new stock might be released to give them a chance in the world of crashing websites and virtual queues.
We dont yet know how long this misery will continue, but Sony is telling customers to expect the stock issues into the summer months at least.

Where To Pre Order Ps5
Amazon appears to be the only retailer who is yet to open the pre-orders for buyers. So, if you are really keen to get the upcoming PS5 gaming console at the earliest, your only choice is to head over to Amazon and try your luck when the platform finally opens its pre-orders. Certain fans also claim to be constantly refreshing the page so they dont actually miss out.
If you are a Sony PlayStation owner, you can also pre-order the PS5 directly from Sony. However, the company is taking direct pre-orders only for select PlayStation owners. You will first have to register on the company website using your PSN ID at the link here. If you are selected, Sony will contact you via email before the pre-orders go live. In case you do not receive an email invitation from the company, it means that you were not selected.

How Can I Pre
You can pre-order the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 faceplates from PlayStation Direct. These are set to initially release on the 21st January, 2022, though this may vary depending on your location. The other three PS5 console covers will launch sometime in the first half of 2022.
You can also pre-order the Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple DualSense controllers from PlayStation Direct.
These are set to release from January 14th, 2022, though there’s some confusion: PlayStation Direct lists all three new colors as releasing on January 14th, but the PlayStation Blog post says that only the Galactic Purple DualSense controller will be released on that day.

PS5 is upon us, although most stores have extremely limited stock, so act fast at these retailers.
It’s now December 2021, and despite the PS5 being “available” in Australia for over 12 months, it’s still virtually impossible to find. Given our proximity to Christmas, there’s every chance the major retailers will dole out some drops between now and 2022, but competition to secure them will be fierce, and if you want them before Christmas you may not have luck.
Still, while stock allocations are rare they do happen, so you’ll need to stay vigilant, as stock is likely to remain low into early 2022. When stock does appear, it tends not to last long, though we have our fingers crossed there will be a bit of a megadrop in the lead up to Christmas.
So yeah, PS5 stock replenishment is a fairly scattershot affair in Australia. Some retailers have been known to provide a few days advance notice, such as what Big W did in February , but more often than not they just appear. If there’s a local bricks-and-mortar store near you, it might be worth joining their waiting list, if they have one.
But the sad reality is that you’ll probably need to check the PS5 pages on each retailer’s site manually if you want a console right now: all relevant retailers are listed below. We’ll also update the top of this page occasionally when we get advance warning of a drop.

What New Ps5 Console Covers And Dualsense Colors Can I Buy
PS5 owners can now choose from five new galaxy-inspired covers: Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple. These will be available for both the standard PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition.
Sony will sell these separately from the PS5 and its DualSense wireless controllers, meaning that you won’t be able to buy a PS5 that already features these covers. Yet.
Sony has also brought these colors to its DualSense wireless controllers. In case you missed it, Sony has already released red and black DualSense controllers. But soon, you’ll be able to purchase a DualSense controller in the remaining three colorsNova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple.

When Will Ps5 Pre
PlayStation 5 pre-orders aren’t available at the time of writing, but fans can make sure they have the best possible chance of securing one by checking out the various PS5 pre-order alert sign-ups available at retailers. Best Buy, GameStop, and Target all have notification pages active on their websites, so fans can register to receive alerts when pre-orders go live.
The full PlayStation 5 reveal is rumored to be coming sometime in early June. Though this exact time frame is unconfirmed, a reveal at some point in the summer is probable, since Sony likely planned to do so after it decided to skip E3 . Whenever the reveal does come, fans can probably expect PS5 pre-orders to go live then or sometime shortly after.

There is currently no PS5 restock live in the US. Consoles are available to buy once again in the UK at Game just six days after the retailer’s previous restock. It’s a good sign that the stock situation is improving, then, at least on that side of the Atlantic.
We’ve been following PS5 restocks since the console launched back in November 2020 and have a solid idea of where to buy a PS5 at any time. Generally, it’s about once or twice a month right now. The PS5 still sells out in a matter of minutes in the US at the likes of Amazon and Walmart. Those in the UK usually get anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days to buy one depending on the retailer, the number of consoles in stock or the quality of bundles available.

GameStop will be holding an in-store PS5 restock on Thursday, December 23. The console will only be available in bundles and you may need to be a PowerUp Reward Pro member to purchase a console.
