Target PS5 restock dates have been hard to nail down. That’s because the retailer tends to drop inventory in certain regions. For instance, someone in Chicago could see PS5 inventory at their local store, whereas a New Yorker might not see any inventory whatsoever. In addition, Target tends to do early morning restocks that occur around 8 a.m. ET. That said, their last restock sold out in minutes.
Why Is The Ps5 So Tough To Find
There are three big reasons why you’re still struggling to get a PS5. The first is the most obvious: The system is really popular. Sony says the PS5 is its best-selling console and has already sold 10 million units since launch.
The second reason is the current chip shortage impacting most of the world’s electronics. Sony did say it has secured enough chips to meet its goal of 14.8 million consoles for the fiscal year.
As for the last reason, it comes down to bots. Resellers are using software to purchase a massive number of PS5s at once, leaving only a few for actual humans to buy. Retailers added various bot protections during PS5 restocks, but these restrictions only hamper resellers so much.

Latest: PS5 restocks have been very slow this week. According to , we can expect a restock at Game between 14-16th September, and at Argos 14-17th September after 8am. Though as always it is not guaranteed to be this week. This follows availability at AO, ShopTo and Studio in this week. In the US, PS5 digital consoles were briefly in stock at Target. You can check the table below for all rumoured dates. Restocks at other stores will follow. Of course, these dates are subject to change.

Ps5 Review: Unboxing And Design
I’m a fan of the PS5’s futuristic, flared design.
As can be seen in T3’s PS5 unboxing video, the PlayStation 5 is an absolute beast of a console in terms of proportions. This is a system that tops out at just under 40cm in height, and is 26cm deep, and 10cm wide. If you want something that’s compact and easy to conceal in your entertainment setup, the PS5 isn’t it.
The console comes in a compartmentalised white cardboard box, which as well as securely holding the hardware, also delivers its base, DualSense controller, cables, and paperwork.
The PS5 base is something that is unique to Sony in the next-gen, with Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S eschewing them due to their rather fatter, more traditional and stable designs, which are rectangular prisms.
The base can be affixed to the console either in its vertical or horizontal orientation, although it’s obvious that the primary usage is for when positioning vertically. The base screws into the PlayStation 5’s base in the vertical position, and just clamps on to one of its flared case wings when displayed horizontally.

When it comes to the console’s design, specifically, as I mentioned in the verdict above, I’m a big fan. The PS5 design is something that has firmly split opinion among gamers, but for me I think its size, and futuristic, flared design generates a sense of awe and power.
I think the vents at the console’s top look class.
Cyber Monday Ps5 And Xbox Series X Restock At Antonline
Nothing has been confirmed for Antonline at the time of writing, but the merchant was one of the few that actually managed to restock on next-gen consoles for Black Friday. As such, there is a decent chance that they will do so again for Cyber Monday, especially since they have yet to release any Xbox Series X units.
On a related note, Antonline already has a few bundles listed for the Xbox Series S. If you are happy to settle for Microsoft‘s cheaper model hardware, then there are some pretty good deals on offer here.

Update 12/1 2:20 pm PT: PlayStation is offering a unique version of Godfall called “The Challenger Edition” which “focuses on three unique modes: Lightbringer, Dreamstones, and the Ascended Tower of Trials.”
These are all endgame content, meaning the version offered as part of PS Plus will push players immediately to post-game content with max-level characters pre-equipped with the right gear and weapons.
As noted in the PlayStation Blog, Godfall: Challenger Edition will be compatible with co-op and cross-gen play, but if players want to access the campaign for Godfall and the Fire & Darkness expansion, they’ll need to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition.
IGN has reached out to publisher Gearbox and developer Counterplay Games for more details on the Challenger Edition.

If you’re still wondering where to buy PS5 you’re not alone. Those looking to make the most of the next generation are still hunting for those all-important PS5 consoles, but knowing where to focus your search can make all the difference.
We’ve seen more regular drops at certain retailers, like Best Buy and Walmart in the US, and Very and Game in the UK, but you’ll find all the retailers that have offered the chance to buy PS5 recently just below.
If you’re getting desperate to buy PS5, it can be tempting to head over to a reseller site. However, even though stock can be snapped up quickly it’s not impossible to get your hands on the next-gen console. We’d recommend staying well clear of these price hiked sites and instead sticking with retailers you know and trust.

Should You Buy Ps5 Or Ps5 Digital Edition
You can buy one of two version of the PS5 today – the standard disk version, or the Digital Edition. The former allows you to play your physical PS4 and PS5 games, however you can still access your downloaded PS4 titles on the Digital Edition as well.
The cheaper £359 PS5 Digital Edition doesn’t have a disk drive, but still runs the same specs as the full fat console. That means you can buy PS5 for less today and you’ll still be running the latest tech from Sony.
However, there’s only 825GB in this SSD and that’s going to fill up quickly, provided you don’t grab an external HDD for your PS4 games. If you’ve got a substantial physical collection already then it might be worth upgrading to the main console.
That said, it’s difficult to buy PS5 either way right now, with launch seeing an incredibly limited number of consoles hitting the shelves. While we wouldn’t necessarily advise settling for the console you can get , if you’re set on buying PS5 today you might have to take what you find.

Playstation 5 Release Date And Availability
In the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, the PS5 went on sale on 12th November. The rest of the world saw the console launch on 19th November.
With demand outstripping supply, most retailers are still struggling to get hold of PS5 stock. And when they do release it, customers – and bots are snapping it up within minutes.

Update 2: Sony has sent out an apology email to those that could not purchase a PS5 console on December 2nd, 2021. It is now expected to go live with another restock on December 6th, so check your email.
“Unfortunately, we have had to cancel today’s event due to technical issues. You are a valued customer and will be invited to another exclusive event to give you an opportunity to purchase a PlayStation 5 console once the technical issues are resolved. Please keep an eye on your inbox,” the email reads.

In a report in the Wall Street Journal, Sony hinted at the PS5s release date during an investor call in April of 2019. WSJ tech reporter, Takashi Mochizuki, tweeted the details:

Its very unlikely that Sony will release the PS5 in the middle of the summer, so everything points to the historical strategy of releasing in November to hit the holiday season. This all but confirms that the PS5 is coming in November of 2020! Read on to see other evidence weve found in the past.

Touted as the most ambitious Five Nights at Freddy’s game yet, Security Breach is another of the upcoming PS5 games arriving at some point in 2021. It features a new location called the Mega Pizza Plex, and stands as the symbol that Freddy Fazbears’ Pizza isn’t just a small pizzeria chain anymore. It’s like Pizza Planet from Toy Story got invaded by all of Sid’s horrible creations, but with more animatronics and murder than anything Pixar’s ever created. Darkened hallways, arcades, and creepy toys galore on PS5 later this year.
Gta 5 Ps5 And Xbox Series X Release Date
Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 5 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 2022, bringing “new features and more”. The game was originally set to release on November 11, 2021 but has been pushed back.
GTA Online will also release as a separate standalone edition during March 2022. Could this be a deliberate move to reduce GTA’s storage demands, and allow the multiplayer component to do more ambitious things? Or is it simply to position GTA Online as a continuous entity, even if another numbered GTA gets announced in the next couple of years? We’ll have to wait and see.
PlayStation owners have a significant advantage in all of this. If you play GTA Online on PS4, you’ll get GTA$1 million to spend in-game every month until the PS5 version of GTA launches. And when GTA Online’s standalone edition arrives on PS5 in March 2022, owners of the console will have three months to claim the game for free after release – until February 2022. That means that Xbox Series X/S owners will have to pay if they want to play the new version of GTA Online at launch, though a price hasn’t been disclosed.
It remains unclear if GTA 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series X will offer those who own the game on PS4 and Xbox One a paid upgrade option or whether these new versions will need to be bought outright.

Ps5 Upgraded Amd Chip
According to DigiTimes sources, the redesigned PS5 could sport new silicon with a new semi customized CPU from AMD built on the 6-nanometer process node the current PS5 uses a 7nm custom octa-core AMD Zen 2 processor.
The move from 7nm to 6nm could see the PS5 deliver a performance boost and make more efficient use of its power. In effect, we could be looking at a PS5 Pro. This wouldnt be the most unusual thing, as the PS4 Pro followed the PS4 – but that was after three years after the latters release in November 2013.
Admittedly, a late 2022 release would mean only a two-year gap between the launch PS5 and a prospective pro version. But with semiconductor shortages making it difficult to find the current PS5 and its Digital Edition counterpart, moving to a console built around a different processor fabrication node could see Sony bypass that shortage. Thats assuming that 6nm chip yields could be strong enough to come with prospective demand.
We have no way to verify DigiTimes sources, but thats not stopped our brains from imagining what wed like to see from the PS5 Pro. An obvious one would be a more compact and less.striking design, perhaps one that can better integrate with existing entertainment units.
More power and increased SSD storage space would also be appreciated as the 825GB of storage on the PS5s super-fast PCIe 4.0 SSD isn’t very spacious for modern games and their large install sizes.
