Where To Buy Ps5 Accessories
While the Pulse 3D wireless headset was extremely difficult to buy for a few months, stock for Sony’s first-party headset has now stabilized at most retailers. However, there are some fantastic third-party PS5 headsets worth considering too. Our personal favorite is the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro wireless headset other great options include the versatile SteelSeries Arctis 1 and the high-end Astro A50. Any of your existing PS4 headsets should work, too.
Other official PS5 accessories, like the media remote and DualSense charging station, are now much easier to find in stock as well.

What About Heat And Noise
The PS5’s monstrous footprint gives it one significant advantage over its predecessor in that the console is basically silent and heat production is also minimal. We have noticed a bit of coil whine on some units, which is where the console emits a faint electrical noise during certain games, but compared to PS4 its a monumental improvement.
The PS4 and PS4 Pro were renowned for their ability to kick up the system fans to obnoxious levels and output lots of heat, particularly on the earlier models, so those looking to pick up a PS5 will be relieved to hear that those problems have been eradicated.
We held our hand near the system during a long play session, and although the PlayStation 5 was clearly outputting hot air it was emitting far less than what the PS4 Pro would push out.
Very rarely in our testing did the fans reach an audibly loud level to the degree that the PS4 Pro did when running games like Horizon: Zero Dawn or God of War. However, that could simply be due to the fact that we haven’t seen any resource-heavy PS5 games yet. Sony has also promised that it plans to optimize the PS5’s fans using over-the-air updates, so the machine could get louder, or indeed quieter, when playing certain games later down the line.

Amazon sellers are able to create separate PS5 listings by selling the video game console bundled with another item. Its something as simple as an HDMI cable or another accessory that doesnt normally come with the PlayStation 5.

As we approach the hard-to-get PS5’s one-year anniversary, it’s time to turn attention to a possible more powerful new model of the PlayStation 5.
Almost a year after Sony launched its cutting-edge PS5 console, chances are you’re probably still , desperately trying to find one that’s not part of a sure-I’ll-pay-$500-more bundle. It’s never too soon to start thinking about the next console you might not be able to get, though after all, if there’s something as good or better on the horizon, why not give your Twitter trawling a break? Thus arise the nascent rumors about a new PS5 Pro. At the moment, the sole tip-based leak comes from reputable Moore’s Law is Dead , which claims that Sony’s working on a new, higher-specced model of the PS5.

The rest is pure speculation that places its likely arrival between late 2023 and late 2024, priced at $600 to $700 and incorporating the forthcoming 6nm Zen 3 or Zen 4 AMD silicon to drive 8K gameplay. However, the most probable next PS5 is a model with VR for 2022, which Sony has already previewed new hardware for. Although it would differ from its PS4 strategy, there’s no reason Sony might not consider that a “Pro” model and push the internal hardware upgrade to a PS6.
And it’s a lot less likely, but I’d really welcome a cheaper “PS5 Slim” along the lines of the Xbox Series S, targeted at newbies and more price-sensitive gamers.

What Are The Ps5 Pro Specs And Hardware
The PS5 Pro is rumored to feature a fresh new AMD APU with new CPU/GPU IPs, which of course will be far faster than the current AMD Zen 2-based CPU that runs at 3.5GHz.
APU means accelerated processing unit and is still a CPU, although AMD has combined it with a powerful integrated graphics card so it does all the work. The system should be able to natively support 8K resolution, but all this is just speculation so take everything here as rumor, although Moores Law Is Dead states this is definitely the case. Dont expect Sony to announce the PS5 Pro until 2023 either, incidentally.

Ps5 Restocks At Best Buy
Best Buy’s last PS5 restock was on October 6 for in-store pickup. Prior to that, Best Buy had multiple restocks for both the PS5 and PS5 Digital in late September/early October. All restocks sold out very quickly. Best Buy’s restocks usually happen in the latter half of the week , but this isn’t always the case.

These take the form of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, all of which come with their own unique weapons, and the option to switch between them at any time.
What About Ps5 Backward Compatibility
Sony has confirmed that the PS5 will be able to run all PS4 titles, but what about the vast gaming libraries of veteran PlayStation fans? The company has yet to confirm how far back the PS5’s backward compatibility will reach, but Ubisoft might have leaked Sony’s backward compatibility plans on August 31 and gamers were not pleased.
The game publisher posted a brief rundown of how upgrading from a current-gen to next-gen consoles will work. This announcement initially contained a disappointing statement for anyone expecting to be able to play their PS2 games on the PS5:
Backwards compatibility will be available for supported PlayStation 4 titles, but will not be possible for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, or PlayStation games.
The company has since removed this statement but not before fans expecting to be able to play their entire back catalog of PS games were dishearten by the update. So don’t toss your old consoles in preparation for the PS5 launch, you’re still going to need them if you want to play old games you have lying around.

Is A Black Ps5 Available Through Official Channels
In a huge FAQ post about the PS5 released a few days before the consoles launch, Sony confirmed that there wont be additional colors or designs available for either of the PS5 models at launch.
This was an expected confirmation, given there has been no mention of a variation on the PS5s current two-tone design. As a result, many have taken to creating a black PS5 themselves, including one of our friends over at Gfinityesports.com, taking off the PS5 panelling and painting it black.

This may sound like a nifty idea, but it comes with a warning! This will likely render any warranty void, meaning if your PS5 runs into any issues, Sony might not help you.
Of course, the key phrase in the FAQs was at launch. This leaves open the possibility for a black PS5 in the future, but here we are over six months later, and we still know nothing about what this could entail.

The PlayStation 5 will also have a huge SSD to manage all its 4k game textures and assets. On average, the 4k files add up to 15-20GB over the base installed game file. For example, the base install size of Halo 5 is 98.26GB and downloading the 4k patch adds an additional 15.10GB.
The PlayStation 5 will come with an SSD to load the assets faster and enhance the gameplay experience. Only a few months ago, Sony showcased the loading time of the PS5 during an official developer presentation. The PS5 was able to load the latest Spiderman game in less than a second while the PS4 Pro took around 8 seconds to load the same.
Recently, officials from Crytek Game Studios revered the performance of the SSD in the upcoming PlayStation 5. The studio said that the faster SSDs will open up a lot of design possibilities.
