PlayStation 5 and PS5 Digital Edition will be back in stock on Monday, October 25 at 12pm in India. Sony’s online store ShopAtSC has updated its FAQs for PlayStation 5 page with the pre-order date and time for both the standard and Digital Edition of the PS5. The details were also mentioned briefly in a banner on the website’s dedicated page for PS5, but was removed later. The console is likely to be available for pre-order on other e-commerce websites as well on the above-mentioned date. Currently, the PS5 is showing up as out of stock’ on other platforms.
ShopAtSC on Tuesday updated its PS5 and the PS5 Digital Edition pages with a banner that showed the pre-order date and time in India. At the time of writing, the website had already removed it. The FAQs page, however, still shows that the next-gen consoles will be available for pre-order on October 25, 2021, starting 12 noon onwards. The PS5 last went on pre-order in India on and like all previous sale dates, the console was sold out in minutes. So, this time as well, the PS5 may run out of stock quickly if you don’t place the order immediately at 12pm. Based on the new pre-orders, the PS5 will begin shipping on November 10, according to the FAQs page.

Whew, we told you it would go quick! The PS5 is now out of stock at Game. Dont fret if you failed to secure one, though, we expect a few more drops to take place this week.
Weve currently got our eye on Smyths Toys and AO, who could all restock this week, plus theres always PlayStation Direct, who is a retailer that were still plotting a restock pattern for.
Target Ps5 Restock Date
Target PS5 restock dates have been hard to nail down. That’s because the retailer tends to drop inventory in certain regions. For instance, someone in Chicago could see PS5 inventory at their local store, whereas a New Yorker might not see any inventory whatsoever. In addition, Target tends to do early morning restocks that occur around 8 a.m. ET. That said, their last restock sold out in minutes.

When Will Sony Announce A Black Ps5
Sony has remained quiet about any console or console variant, which means we cannot be 100% certain about a black PS5s existence until an announcement arrives.
It seems unlikely that a black console will be ready for a while, following comments from PlayStations Head of Global Marketing, Eric Lempel, in an interview with Geoff Keighley.
When pressed by Keighley about different coloured controllers or consoles, Lempel stated: Right now, its a hard enough job to get the unit we showed out so, well talk about it at some point.
With this problem still existing now as we venture further into 2021, it could be a while before the black PS5 announcement.
How To Buy A Black Ps5
However, just because Sony has yet to release an official black PS5 doesnt mean that you cant pick one up from a third-party seller.
The company CMP Shells has offered fans the chance to get their hands on a black PS5 through black faceplates.
It previously pulled its black faceplates following threats of legal action from Sony. However, on the product page for the CMP Blackout the name given to the black PS5 shells the company addresses the question of whether it could be sued.
The patent is pending, and all sales finalized before its approved are untouchable, CMP Shells said. We didnt know before. Now we do.
CMP Shells also added: We have not replicated anyones proprietary design and have actually improved upon the original by allowing for more ventilation.
Just 1000 units of the black PS5 shells have been made, which CMP claims is to keep our shells super exclusive.
Alongside the two shells for the PS5 console, the kit will come with a black vinyl middlepiece and a Vinyl controller set for the DualSense controller. The black shells cost $69.99 and will be delivered in March, according to the company. At the time of writing, the Digital Edition shells have already sold out, but the Disc Edition shells have not.

As the PS5 pre-orders began on 17th September 2020, there was not a black PlayStation 5 in sight. This did not stop the next-gen console from selling out almost immediately, with countless retailers having run out of stock in mere minutes.
This trend has continued ever since September through numerous restocks from the likes of Currys, Argos and .
If youre waiting to pre-order a black PS5, we do not know when they will open, as the variant has yet to be announced. However, wed expect the same retailers shipping the white PS5 to also hold stock of a black version, so its worth keeping those links around for when pre-orders go live.

Black Friday Ps5 Restocks
Walmart will have the PS5 in stock starting November 22 of Black Friday week. The console will only be available to purchase online, and supply is unsurprisingly limited. Like other restocks, we’d expect Walmart to sell out quickly, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Walmart release stock in waves throughout the week. GameStop will have the PS5 and PS5 Digital in stock at select stores on Thanksgiving. We’re still waiting on ads from other retailers, but we anticipate that more retailers will have the PS5 and PS5 Digital in stock for Black Friday.
Keep in mind there’s also the chance that PS5 restocks will be limited to paid members at select retailers in the coming weeks.
Best Buy recently launched a $200/year membership called Totaltech, and select restocks have been limited to members. Walmart has done the same for its $98/year membership. Likewise, GameStop has made certain restocks only available to PowerUp Rewards Pro members. And, of course, Amazon could lock PS5s behind its Prime membership. Meanwhile, retailers like Costco and Sam’s Club–which require memberships to shop–have always required memberships for PS5 restocks.

Not even Amazon has enough clout with Sony to obtain PS5 console inventory, however, some of the Amazon Sellers which sell video game equipment through Amazon are promoting that they have brand-new PS5 consoles in-stock and ready to ship but theyre charging a heafy premium.
For example, one listing from a seller, called Tech Plus Pro, is offering the PS5 Console for $1,299.00 or the PS5 Digital Edition for $1,199, with immediate shipping available.

Playstation 5 Games Price
Since NBA games publisher 2K announced the $70 price for its sports sim NBA 2K21, the consensus has been that there’s a PS5 games hike coming across the board.
That raises the standard by $10 from $60 which seems uncomfortable in the face of what many consider a fairly expensive games console full stop.
To be fair to both Sony and Microsoft, games pricing has remained the same since the launch of the original Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2005. Between game production values having gone through the roof and 15 years’ worth of inflation, it could have been a lot worse for the consumer.

Much like in the UK, PlayStation 5s are in high demand across the pond, following a scramble by thousands of prospective PS5 owners who attempted to buy a PS5 before Christmas.

Playstation Direct Uk/eu Could Release In 2021
The PlayStation Direct site, which sells PlayStation products to consumers directly from Sony, could see a UK/EU release next year, following the release of a job listing by PlayStation Europe.
PlayStation Europe is currently searching for a Director for PlayStation Direct Europe. The listing states that As a part of this evolution, we are looking to build on the successful launch of new direct-to-consumer business in the US with the launch in Europe.
Reporting to the Vice President, PlayStation Direct based in San Francisco, this role will be responsible for the European sales strategy and delivering the sales targets of the direct to consumer hardware business in Europe. Working collaboratively with PlayStation Direct leaders, the role will form part of the executive leadership team to drive PlayStations direct to consumer business forward.
This could mean that UK and European gamers may soon be able to buy products from PlayStation Direct which has been heralded by many in the US as creating a better way to buy in-demand PlayStation tech.
