After making sure the console is connected to the internet, you need to add your friends to Fortnite: to continue, start the game and press the button touchpad or button view .
At this point, press the button plaza or button X controller and type your friend’s name in the search bar. The game will automatically send a friend request.
Once your friend has accepted, just press the button X or button la controller on its name and select the item Invite the group : in this way, they can play Fortnite together.
If you really can’t find your friend’s account, there may be another reason. In fact, you may have decided, the first time you started the game, to create a temporary account for Fortnite and this can prevent you from finding your friend’s profile.

If you wish to play cross-platform, you must have an Epic Games account.
Your Epic Games account is the thread that connects Fortnite across all platforms. Finally, youll utilize it to build a cross-platform party where everyone can play together.
But it also has additional advantages.
Your official Fortnite data is stored in your Epic Games account. Connect that account to every game you play, and your progress and purchased content will follow you around.
To play with friends across platforms, everyone must link their platform account Android, iOS, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, or Nintendo Network to their Epic Games account.
If you already have an Epic Games account, you may use the games official website to link Fortnite to your PlayStation and Xbox accounts. When you launch the game on the Nintendo Switch, youll be prompted to check-in.
