Well, there are quite a few emotes available in Borderlands 3 and while you start with 10, you can unlock many more as you progress. These range from the most basic, such as sitting up, using a clever sarcastic voice line, waving, blowing a kiss, farting, crying, using a pick-up line, singing, dancing, flirting, and sleeping to the witty. such as Hearts, Robot Dance, Chicken Dance, Finger Dance, Fun Moves Demonstration, Death, etc. Youll already have access to the most basic emotes, but youll still need to unlock the funniest emotes in the game.

How To Unlock And Equip New Emotes

New emotes can be unlocked and earned just like new skins and heads. You can find them randomly throughout the world, though the most reliable way to get new emotes is to head to Sanctuary III and visit the Black Market Dealer down in the Cargo Hold. How To Unlock More Emotes

Emotes are cosmetic items in BL3, just like character heads and weapon skins, meaning there are plenty of them to find and unlock through the game’s multiple worlds. But for those who’d rather not search for them, they can reliably find new emotes right in their spaceship/player hub the Sanctuary III, courtesy of the Black Market Dealer down in the ship’s cargo hold.

It’s worth noting that the Dealer only accepts Eridium as payment, so players hoping for new ways to express themselves are going to have to be mindful of that. That being said, it shouldn’t be too much trouble for those who already know how to get Eridium.

To use an emote, press and hold the Menu button on Xbox One or the Options button on PS4 until you see a menu of your currently available emotes and a few other options. Just press the menu/options button to bring up the pause menu. So keep it pressed, otherwise the emote function will not work.

Just go to Crazy Earls door aboard Sanctuary 3. You can find him downstairs in the cargo bay. Crazy Earl will sell you all sorts of cosmetic items and emotes for a small bit of Eridium.

Access The Borderlands 3 Emote Menu

To get into the emote menu, press and hold the pause button. On PS4, this is the Options menu pause button, not the touchpad. Make sure that you actually hold the button down , otherwise, the pause menu will pop up.

Once you’ve brought up the emote menu, use the left thumbstick to tab through the emotion options. Find the one you want to use, and press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One to select the emote.
