PlayStation 5 is getting a restock today. The latest console from Sony will be up for pre-orders on multiple retailers at 12PM IST. The Sony PlayStation 5 Blu-ray disc edition and Digital Edition both will be available for pre-orders during todays restock on Amazon, Sony Center, Croma, Flipkart, Games The Shop, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales. However, todays restock is also said to come in very limited quantities, even though this is the seventh restock for the PlayStation 5 in India and the fourth restock for the Digital Edition.
The PlayStation 5 standard disc edition is priced at Rs 49,990 in India, while the Digital Edition is priced at Rs 39,990 in the country. The PlayStation 5 consoles from todays restock will start shipping to customers starting September 10, the Sony Center website states. Other retailers are also expected to ship the console around the same time. Previously, PlayStation 5 consoles delivered from Sony Center have reached customers in about a week, as several customers have said that they have received their consoles much before the announced shipping date.
The last Sony PlayStation 5 restock happened in India on July 26. Back then, only the Blu-ray standard disc edition PlayStation 5 console was available on multiple retailers including Amazon, Sony Center, Games The Shop, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.

Unfortunately, theres no trick to getting a PS Direct PS5 restock invite. However, there are a few factors that PlayStation takes into account when choosing who to send invites out to.

While trying to get hold of any PS5 stock in the UK is still a bloody nightmare, retailer Currys has announced a new method of schnaffling one that might just be a worthwhile method. The company’s new ‘PS5 Priority Pass‘ process will hopefully offer shoppers a more luck-based method to getting a new console, but one that’s safe from bots and scalpers.
This is in an effort to help PS5 stock get into the ‘right’ hands whenever the console becomes available, and it does have the hallmarks of a safer route, nonetheless.;
The system is simple: sign up with Currys , and you’ll be entered into a raffle with all the other folks who have signed up. If your name is pulled out of the hat then you will have a guaranteed chance to buy a PS5 with a unique Priority Pass, containing a unique code through which you can buy a PS5, as well as information about your local Currys stores where you can buy the console from. The very important thing to note is that these codes will only be valid for 72 hours.
As a result, the switch from ‘risk losing all stock to scalpers and bots’ to ‘luck of the draw raffle system’ seems to be one that all parties are happy with even if they aren’t lucky in said raffles – still, a bitter chance than the former, unless you, yourself, are a robot.
