Ps4 Pro: Specs Release Date And Price Confirmed
After announcing a new PlayStation console just prior to E3, Sony finally shares new details on its new, more powerful PlayStation 4 Pro.
As expected, Sony today unveiled its new, more powerful PlayStation console, which is called PlayStation 4 Pro. It will launch on November 10, 2016 and cost $399/£349/A$560.
The console will complement the standard PS4 and sit alongside it. The name was picked to show that it is part of the current version of the console, but aimed at the higher-end gamers. It is not an entirely new architecture and thus not a new generation of PlayStation hardware.
During the PlayStation Meeting event, Andrew House, president and group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, discussed Sony’s decision to pursue 4K and HDR, which are two of the major new features the PS4 Pro enables. House described these as “natural” paths of progression for visual fidelity. He went on to introduce lead architect Mark Cerny, who said Sony’s vision is to “take the PS4 experience to extraordinary new levels.”
“Our goal is to deliver high-fidelity graphical experiences,” he added. “We aim to provide developers with tools to further their visions.”
Among the hardware upgrades in the PS4 Pro are a 1TB hard drive, doubled GPU power, and technology adapted from AMD Polaris graphical architecture. These allow the PS4 Pro to reach resolutions “not thought possible on consoles” in 2016. The CPU clockspeed has also been boosted. The Pro will not have a 4K Blu-ray drive.
Ps4 Pro Price: How Much Does It Cost
PS4 Pro is more expensive than the base PS4. Sony’s suggested retail price for the base 1TB PS4 Pro is $399/399/£349.
Compare that to the 500GB PS4 Slim’s RRP of $299/299/£259 and the 1TB PS4’s RRP of $349/349/£299. You might also be interested to know the 500GB Xbox One S goes for $299/299/£249 and the 1TB Xbox One S is priced at $349/349/£299.
As you can see, the price of the PS4 Pro will make it the most expensive 1TB console on the market this holiday season.
Gran Turismo 7 News And Rumors
Most of Gran Turismo 7 is online-only
Most of Gran Turismo 7, including the game’s campaign mode, will require an internet connection to play.
Speaking to Eurogamer, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi that an online connection is required to prevent players from cheating.
“The requirement for the online connection isn’t specific to the Cafe per se,” Yamauchi said. “It’s just to prevent cheating overall from people trying to modify the save data, so that’s the reason for the online connection.”The only mode that won’t require an online connection, in fact, is the game’s arcade mode as it doesn’t use save data.

Ps4 Pro Controller And Accessories
The PS4 Neo uses the existing Dual Shock 4 controller no need to buy any fancy new peripherals.
That said, Sony has introduced a slight revision to the DualShock 4 the light bar colour to be viewed while holding the pad for normal gameplay use. This controller is compatible with all PlayStation 4 consoles – PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. It is pictured above.
Razer and Nacon have produced two new PS4 Pro controllers specifically designed for eSports use. Developed with full support from Sony, they’re completely compatible with PS4 Pro.
In the same vein as the Dual Shock situation, Sony has announced a functionally identical PlayStation Camera and a new premium headset, both of which work with all three hardware variations.
There is only one accessory incompatible with the original launch PS4: a vertical stand designed to suit both the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro’s new form factors.
Second Screen And Remote Play
Smartphones and tablets can interact with the PlayStation 4 as second screen devices, and can also wake the console from sleep mode. A Sony Xperia smartphone, tablet or the PlayStation Vita can be used for streaming gameplay from the console to handheld, allowing supported games to be played remotely from around a household or away from home. Sony has ambitions to make all PS4 games playable on PlayStation Vita. Developers can add Vita-specific controls for use via Remote Play. This feature was later expanded to enable PS4 Remote Play functionality on Microsoft Windows PCs and on Apple OS X Macs. The update, released in April 2016, allows for Remote Play functionality on computers running Windows 8.1, Windows 10, OS X Yosemite, and OS X El Capitan. Remote Play supports resolution options of 360p, 540p, and 720p , frame rate options of 30-60 FPS, and the DualShock 4 can be connected via USB.
The PlayStation App allows iOS and Android mobile devices to interact with the PlayStation 4 from their device. The user can use this application to purchase PS4 games from the console and have them remotely downloaded, watch live streams of other gamers, and/or view in-game maps while playing games.

When Will The Ps5 Pro Release
Assuming Sony goes ahead with the PS5 Pro, we wouldnt expect it to launch until at least three years after the original PS5. This means were probably looking at a late 2023 release date at the earliest. Expect the PS5 Pro to have more horsepower than the standard system, allowing it to provide high-resolution graphics and slicker framerates just like the PS4 Pro.

Where To Buy Ps4
ByIan Stokes07 September 2021
Need to know where to buy PS4? Here’s all the latest info on PlayStation 4 console restocks and availability
Finding where to buy a PS4 is no easy task. In fact, it’s almost as hard as tracking down PS5 restock. It’s a weird situation to find ourselves in right now, because the PS5 should have sent the PS4 price down to the point where retailers are basically giving them away. However, we don’t anticipate more PS4 stock appearing anytime soon.
So where can you buy a PS4? The last time we checked, there weren’t many retailers with stock. Your best bet is to look for refurbished models . Unfortunately there’s no telling how long that stock might last, because retailers don’t have a particularly healthy supply of stock these days. Now that Sony Japan has confirmed it’ll be discontinuing all but one PS4 model, we wouldn’t expect it to get any easier in the near future.
When Did The Ps4 Come Out
PSU Staff / April 20, 2021
When did the PS4 come out, when was ps4 released Given how long the PS4 has been around, and with all the talk of the forthcoming PS5 release date, specs and other next-gen consoles, it can be easy to forget the original PS4 release date. As such folks have started to ask, when was the PS4 released? Lets see!

A More Technical Standpoint
The PlayStation 4 Pro is a good machine. It isn’t the most innovative console, but it was a step in the right direction with an increase in power and was the first from Sony to offer 4K streaming. It also offered several small upgrades over the Slim. The PS4 Pro is the best option for people who want PlayStation games right now and don’t mind paying over $300 for a sytem, but the PlayStation 4 Slim is a good way to save even more money if you don’t care too much about 4K graphics.
The PS4 Slim can be found for around $300 now, although that may drop a bit once the PS5 officially launches. Something to also keep in mind is that Sony has expressed its intention to make the PS5 backward-compatible, with the company recently stating that the overwhelming majority of PS4 games will work on PlayStation 5. If it follows through with this, those games you pick up now will work on the PS5 once you upgrade to the next gen.
Psvr 2 News And Rumors
No official PSVR 2 details in sight?
Sony has confirmed via the official PlayStation Blog that there won’t be any PSVR 2 announcements during September 9, 2021’s PlayStation Showcase. While plenty of new and announced PS5 games will make an appearance during the presentation, PSVR 2 fans will just have to wait a bit longer before the future of VR is revealed for Sony’s current-gen machine.
PSVR 2 could have a second screen bolted on the front
According to a patent spotted in August 2021, the PSVR 2 might have a second screen on the front of the headset.
The patent describes how an external, front-mounted display could help those watching a VR player understand what the headset wearer is seeing in real-time thats one way to get around the isolating VR experience and sure would add an even more cool sci-fi look to Sony’s headgear.
Is Sony making inroads to social VR?
Part chatroom, part Sims-like design app, PlayStation Home was closed in 2015. But the trademark hints at its return and, given the rise of social VR spaces, we wouldnt be surprised if this is going to play a big part in Sonys move into social gaming and virtual reality in the future.

Where To Buy Ps: Key Dates
Sony of Japan has confirmed that it’s been pivoting its attention to the PS5, which has proven to be insanely popular since its launch at the end of last year. For that reason it’s announced it will be discontinuing all PS4 Pros and all but one PS4 Slim model.
While there’s been no word on what’s happening to consoles sold outside of Japan, it’s quite likely a similar announcement is coming. If you’re happy with a 500GB PS4 Slim, that’s great, but if you want something else we suggest you start thinking about buying one soon.
Just remember not to pay overinflated prices for your console, especially if it’s used, because it’s just not worth it. The PS4 may be on its way out, but there are still consoles out there that won’t cost you nearly as much as a PS5. So be patient, and keep your eye out for any good deals.

Ps4 Pro Vs Ps: What Makes Ps4 Pro Different
The basic difference between the PS4 Pro and the PS4 is power. The PS4 Pro has a faster CPU and more powerful GPU. This allows developers to achieve better frame rates, leverage more advanced visual effects, increase resolution up to 4K, take advantage of HDR – or some combination of all of these.
This power boost grants the PS4 Pro the ability to output games in native 4K resolution , and upscale games that don’t have 4K support. It can also display stream 4K media, although it can’t play 4K Blu-rays. The current PS4 can output games in HD and some photos and videos in 4K.
Despite the power discrepancy between the two hardware revisions, the PS4 Pro is not a new console generation: PS4 and PS4 Pro will share a library of games, and Sony is not planning on any PS4 Pro exclusives. Instead, some current and most future games will offer enhancements for those players with a PS4 Pro – although Sony insists these enhancements must not affect gameplay in any way.
Players will be able to if you own a PS4 and a PS4 Pro, you can switch seamlessly between them, bringing your PSN ID and all data with you, and there’ll be no split in online user base.
Visually, the PS4 Pro looks like a three layer cake, while the PS4 and PS4 Slim have only two layers, essentially making the PS4 Pro 50% more delicious. This is not a factor you should consider when making a purchasing decision.

When Will The Ps5 Pro Ship And How Much Will It Cost
The name “PS5 Pro” comes from the convention Sony used for its upgraded PS4 console, the PS4 Pro, and there seems to be a consensus about that. MLID estimates the 2023-2024 timing based off Sony’s release of the PS4 Pro three years after the PS4.
The price of $600-$700 has been bandied about based on assumptions about typical $100 or so price differentials across models. But given how little we know about what will be inside, and not knowing when the current upward pressure on prices caused by shortages will end, it’s almost impossible to even guess. So $600 is as good an estimate as any for a slightly higher-end model.
How Much Will Ps5 Pro Cost
While we do now know the PS5 price point, its impossible to guess how much a hypothetical PS5 Pro will cost. Its safe to assume that itll cost more than the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition, but itll likely launch several years later, when the standard model has been discounted.

A Bright Future For Ps4
All the cards are on the table now. The next generation of video game consoles have been released and the battle wages on for the hearts and minds of consumers everywhere. Join us as we celebrate the victories and look into the future. You may want to pack some sunglasses, because the future is pretty damn bright.
We start with the lists above. Updated as of E3 2015, these lists are the comprehensive guide to what is announced, what’s hot, and what’s coming out for the PS4. The PS4 has already been making massive waves. As of March 1,2015, Sony announced that our console of choice has sold an amazing 20 million units worldwide!
The PS4 broke records, reaching this milestone faster than any other PlayStation console in history. How’s the competition you ask? Well, as of the same time period, Microsoft has only shipped, not sold, ten million Xbox Ones. Wow, do you smell that burn? Sony is demolishing them! Is it just because the PS4 is more powerful?
That’s certainly part of it, but when you really boil it down, it’s all about the games, and PS4 has delivered and is poised to continue bringing the heat into 2016. Here are some of the best current and upcoming titles to keep an eye on!
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
No Man’s Sky
This game made huge waves since the showcase at E3 and while we don’t have a solid date for it yet, this is going to be one to keep an eye on.
The Order: 1886
The Last Guardian
Final Fantasy VII: Remake
Kingdom Hearts III
Star Wars Battlefront
When Will The Ps5 Pro Come Out
For the moment, let’s look at the PS5 Pro as hardware. Looking at previous generations as a guide, the earliest we can anticipate a PS5 Pro would be November 2023. The PS4 Pro came out almost exactly three years after the PS4, for example.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact may see that date pushed back. Heading into 2021, crippling stock shortages on the PS5 mean that the console has yet to be fully unleashed. Many territories are being told they may not get the console until well into 2021, which could shift all the plans backwards.
On top of that, if this patent is to be believed, the PS5 Pro will be jammed with a lot of extra power. In order to make that affordable, there will need to be a considerable gap before the components can come down in cost. With the aforementioned coronavirus delay, a 2024 release date is therefore a possibility.
