MW2 is barely a few weeks away from release at time of writing. With that in mind, its not much of a shock that Sony decided to announce the bundle.

The original announcement happened on the , and it looks like the only way to get the Modern warfare 2 PS5 Bundle is to pre order directly from Sony.

The bundle includes an 825 GB PS5 and a digital code for a copy of the game. At this stage, if you havent already bought the game, and you want a pS5 to play it on, then this might actually be your best deal.

Playstation Plus $5999 Annually

A PlayStation Plus membership is almost a necessity these days. While there are a couple of games — such as Fortnite — that can be played without the subscription, virtually every online game requires it. If youre already a member, your PS Plus membership will carry over to your PS5. If youre not, youll be able to sign up directly on your PlayStation 5, but youll find the best prices available online, with retailers regularly running deals on 12-month memberships. Also, if you buy a PS5 and already have a membership, youll automatically get access to Sonys new PlayStation Plus Collection, which includes titles like God of War, Bloodborne and The Last Guardian.

The PS5 is still hard to find at a moment’s notice so if you’ve got your eye on one for the near future or as a gift for someone soon then our suggestion is to buy it as soon as possible – especially if you’re in the US.

While PS5 restocks are certainly more frequent this year, the console still doesn’t stay available for very long and it’s best to get one while you can rather than missing out on the opportunity. We definitely want to emphasise this for those in the US as PS5 restocks still sell out in a matter of minutes at most retailers there. Restricting sales to specific retailer membership programs has helped to curb the scalpers but it still requires speed, timing and a bit of luck to buy a console.

However, if you’re in no rush and would perhaps prefer to wait for any PS5 bundle deals then you can hold off for now. It might not be some time until the discounts you’re looking for are available in stores but who knows what the situation might look like in the upcoming Memorial Day sales or closer to Black Friday.

When NBA games publisher 2K announced the $70 / £65 / AU$100 price for its sports sim NBA 2K21, it effectively confirmed a PS5 games price hike.

Playstation 5 Price: Recent History

After much waiting, Sony announced the price and release date of the PS5 on 16th September 2020.

The company set the price of the PS5 Digital Edition at £360 / $400 / AU$599, and the PS5 disc edition at £450 / $490 / AU$749. That came as a pleasant surprise to those who’d expected the PS5 to be priced higher than the rival Xbox Series X.

In August 2022, Sony raised the price in certain territories, the UK and Australia among them. British buyers will now pay £479.99 for the standard PS5, and £389.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition without a Blu-ray disc drive. Australian gamers will now pay AU$799.95 and AU$649.95 respectively.

Prices are also going up in Europe, Japan, China, Mexico and Canada, but the US price remains unchanged.

With demand continuing to outstrip supply in 2022, finding a PS5 deal continues to be a challenge . Could the rumoured launch of the PS5 Pro in 2023/24 trigger a major PS5 price drop? Fingers crossed.

God Of War: Ragnarok Ps5 Controller Pre

Pre-orders for the God of War PS5 controller start from 27th September and will launch on the same day as the game’s release date, 9th November 2022. No pre-orders are live at the moment, but we’ll update this page when links start to appear.

As for which third party retailers will be stocking the God of War-themed controller, we’re not yet sure! It will almost certainly be available to pre-order from PlayStation Direct. PlayStation 5 pre-orders are open, but the situation is a bit of a disaster. When Sony announced pricing details for its next-generation game console on Wednesdayconfirming that the standard PS5 would cost $499, while a Digital Edition without a disc drive would cost $399it officially stated that preorders would begin on Thursday, September 17. The company did not specify when or where these orders would be available, however, merely saying that eager customers could pick the device up at “select retailers.”

The period since has been chaos. Major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy instead made the console available a few hours after Sony’s game showcase on Wednesday. This naturally led to a rush of gamers flooding these storefronts in order to secure their own machine in time for its November 12 release date, which in turn resulted in broken links, site crashes, and extremely quick stock shortages. GameStop saw enough traffic for its site to trigger some sort of DDoS protection, while Best Buy’s online store was intermittently inaccessible Thursday morning.

Dualsense Wireless Controller $6999

The DualSense is Sonys replacement for the DualShock. It does a bunch of new stuff that the DualShock doesnt, but the only thing you need to know is that its the controller you need to play games on PS5. And if youre coming from an Xbox, you dont need to worry about batteries — like the PS4s controller, the battery is internal and non-replaceable. The DualSense will set you back $70, which is a helluva lot of money for a controller. Given theres a controller in the box, you dont need a second gamepad unless youre planning on playing local multiplayer games.

When Is The Dualsense Edge Pre

The DualSense Edge will be available to pre-order on October 25, 2022.

This date was revealed in the latest trailer for the controller, which highlighted its broad range of features. This includes ultra-customizable controls, which will allow players to apply custom settings and personalized control profiles to the Edge similar to Xboxs Elite controllers.

John Lewis & Partners restocks the console very infrequently, usually once every six to eight weeks. Restocks dont tend to last very long, but they do always seem to drop between 7am and 8am in the morning. Restocks have been lasting longer since the retailer started bundling the console with other accessories and games, bumping up the price.

The retailer only appears to get a couple of thousand consoles or less each time new stock comes in, so were not expecting anything big the next time theres a drop of the standalone console. When it happens, we recommend checking out via the app people have seen more success through this method.

The God Of War: Ragnarok Ps5 Controller Price Is Yet To Be Confirmed

We don’t know how much the God of War: Ragnarok DualSense controller will cost. A standard PS5 controller will set you back around £60/$70, while the , Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple PS5 controllers listed for around £65/$75 when they first hit the shelves earlier this year. With this in mind, we expect the price could fall between £65/$75 to £70/$80 but there are no guarantees.

It’s also important to note that the God of War: Ragnarok controller is not to be confused with the premium PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controller that recently got announced.
