Can You Play Destiny The Taken King On Ps4
Expansion I and Expansion II for Destiny owners are now available for a great price in Destiny: The Taken King. If you sign up for a play on account, you will be charged a one-time license fee for your designated primary PS4 system and other PS4 systems. Destiny 2 File Size On Ps4 And Xbox One Revealed
We’re just over a week away from the release of Destiny 2, and you can now find out exactly how much space you need to free up for it on your console.
That’s because the game’s file size has been revealed by the digital stores for both consoles.
On Xbox One, where Destiny 2 is now available for pre-load, you’ll need 29.15GB of free space. Depending on whether or not it receives patches before release, this install size could grow.
As for PS4, the store page mentions 30.87GB when viewed from the console. The online page does not yet have a file size, but it’s unlikely it’ll report anything higher than this.
We’re still not sure when the game will be available to pre-load on PS4, though Sony typically allows pre-loads three to four days before launch. Still, the game’s size is much larger than Destiny 1 at launch.
The download size on PC has also yet to be revealed, and it may be a while before we find out, seeing as the PC version is out a month and a half after consoles. That said, it’ll no doubt be bigger thanks to the game’s support for 4K assets.
Destiny 2 is out September 6 on PS4, and Xbox One, and October 24 on PC.

Character Progression And Classes
Players are able to improve their characters, referred to as Guardians, by gaining experience points â when a set number of experience points are accumulated, the player’s character will “level up” and gain improved statistics which further enhance performance in battle. Quests, including the “main scenario” quest line, are specific tasks given to the player by non-player characters which reward items and XP. Completing main scenario quests progresses the overarching plot of the game.
Destiny features three character classes. Each class has their own specific upgrades, perks, special abilities, and three sub-classes that allow the player to finely tune their individual characters to provide a different play style. After choosing a class, players select one of three species for their character: Human, Awoken , or Exo . They can then customize their character, such as changing its gender or skin color. A character’s species is only cosmetic and does not affect gameplay. Players can create two more characters to have a character of each class. The Taken King added a third sub-class for each class, but requires the purchase of the DLC to access the new sub-classes.

Destiny 2 isn’t an entirely free-to-play game, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that it now gives away a huge amount of lootin’ shootin’ action for the sweet price of nothing. Destiny 2: New Light includes the base game and all of its Year 1 content, which, when you break it all down, is pretty crazy. If you really love it, then there’ll come a point where you’ll need to spend money in order to catch up on the title’s expansions, but you’re still looking at several full campaigns, a suite of co-op activities, and even PvP. Given that Destiny 2 remains one of this generation’s best shooters now bolstered with better RPG elements you can’t go wrong in giving Bungie’s big one a try.

Destiny’s Ps4 Install Size Revealed
Bungie’s upcoming first-person shooter, Destiny, has had its installation size revealed for the PlayStation 4. The game will require 40GB of the PS4’s hard drive space in order to install and operate properly.
Gameranx spotted the story from a Reddit thread that links directly to Sony’s official Entertainment Network, where details about Destiny‘s installation are highlighted on the promotional page.
The line in question is available over on the product page right now and it reads as follows…
40 GB hard drive storage is required. Additional storage may be required for some updates and features. Storage requirements subject to change.
The amount of space shouldn’t be too surprising to many gamers, considering that the start of the generation launched with some pretty hefty installation requirements. In fact, the games were so big at launch that some studies were done to see how many games and apps could fit on the PS4’s hard drive until it was completely full. The study found that 27 games and 10 apps could fit on the PS4’s default hard drive.
The Xbox One didn’t fare quite as well, given that it has a far more expensive operating system overhead and its core system features take up a lot more memory than the PS4. In result, the Xbox One can only hold 20 games on the default hard drive.
