Step 1: Tap on the PlayStation Network from the PS3 menu.

Step 2: Choose Account Management on the next screen.

Step 3: Sign in with your PlayStation credentials if asked and choose the Transaction Management option.

Step 4: On the next screen, click the Services List option.

Step 5: All your PlayStation subscriptions will be displayed. Choose the PlayStation Vue service and choose Cancel Automatic Renewal.

Step 6: Choose Yes on the confirmation screen, if asked.

For many people, Id say yes. Of course, the needs and requirements of each user are different, so research will undoubtedly be warranted on your part. But with local channels, DVR, and and excellent selection of channels between the various packages, I personally wouldnt have a single issue moving from a traditional cable or satellite service to PlayStation Vue.

As mentioned before, however, Vue isnt the only streaming service out there. Theres Sling TV, DirecTV Now, and even Hulu, which will be offering its own TV-like service. Were going to be taking a closer look at all of these in the coming weeks, with a full comparison shortly thereafter.

What If I Stop Playstation Vue Early

PlayStation Vue is contract-free, but you pay for each month in advance. So, for instance, you might pay the $30 monthly fee on January 1st, and then youd be pre-paid through the end of January. But, what happens if you decide to get rid of PlayStation Vue in mid-January?

Basically, since youre prepaying for a month at a time, your Vue subscription will always continue until the end of the monthly term. In this example, even if you cancel on January 15th, youll be able to use the service until the term expires on January 31st. You will not be billed again once you have cancelled PlayStation Vue.

Can You Watch Playstation Vue While Traveling

Yes. You can access your favorite shows from PS Vues My Shows library while on the go. You can add shows to your library and even access on-demand shows.

However, you cannot record any content that is specific to the place you are visiting.

When you sign up for Vue, youll have to select your home location. Thats probably the biggest thing worth noting about Vue: some channels are geo-restricted. Im going to assume these are local channels, but restricted channels will only work when youre inside of the Home Location that you set when you sign up for service. You can modify your home location if you move, but you can only do so once. Otherwise your account may be blocked from service. Its really kind of bizarre, and something Ive never experienced with other streaming services. That said, it does make sensethey dont want you living in Dallas but getting access to Chicagos local channels.

You can only watch PS Vue from outside your home network for 59 days. On the 60th day, you will be prompted to sign in from your home location to continue watching.

1) Open a browser and go to https://id.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/signin/.

2) Sign in with your PS account.
