Is Among Us On Xbox Game Pass
Yes, it’s good news this time for members of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
Among Us will be available on Xbox Game Pass for consoles as soon as it launches on the 14th December, and it will come to the Xbox Cloud Gaming version of Game Pass at a later date that is yet to be confirmed. Among Us is also on the PC version of Xbox Game Pass and has been for some time.
It’s worse news for PlayStation subscribers, though – there’s no sign of Among Us coming to PS Plus any time soon.
Among Us Versions And Console Pricing Explained
If you’re wondering how much does Among Us cost on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, the base version of the game seems to be priced at £4.19 on the Xbox Store‘s digital product page .
There are also three different physical versions of Among Us coming to PlayStation and Xbox the Crewmate Edition, the Impostor Edition and the Ejected Edition, and some of them come with plushes. This is what you get with each one:
When Is The Among Us Xbox Release Date
Those same dates apply to Xbox fans. The Among Us Xbox release date will take place on 14th December 2021 in the UK and Europe, 16th December in Japan and South Korea, and 11th January in the USA, Canada and Latin America.
On those dates, you’ll be able to get the Among Us: Crewmate Edition, which can run on Xbox One, Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S.

How Much Is Among Us On Ps4
No official price has been revealed for Among Us Console Edition on PS4 and PS5 but it should roughly cost £4.19.
This is how much the game costs on the Microsoft store. Some people were wondering if the game would be free-to-play, but this luxury is only for mobile players.
Although it is free on Android and iOS, the fine print is that you have to buy skins and cosmetics.
Away from digital copies, there are physical editions available with the Crewmate package priced at £27.99. An Imposter Edition will also arrive in March 2022 for £44.99.

The Among Us: Crewmate Edition launches on 14th December for £27.99. It includes the Among Us base game, all its DLC and some ‘retail exclusive downloadable content’, as well as a sticker sheet, a 3D Lenticular Case, one of 12 Special holographic access cards, a folded Skeld map poster and a redeemable code for six phone/PC wallpapers.

When Among Us Console Ports Are Coming
It may be a while before Innersloth even gets to designing this system and working on the port, due to the small development team. The developers have also have said that they will be working on a new map, new features, and more, so there is no telling when they’ll get to porting Among Us to PS4. However they have stated that all content that was going into Among Us 2 will now be going into Among Us, meaning a PS4 port will definitely exist in the future.
Player communication is an extra hard challenge to tackle due to the nature of PS4 communication. Most people play in PS4 party chat through voice, and text chat can become annoying due to how long it takes to type out a message with the joystick. Because of these factors, there is no optimal communication system for the player to get exactly what they want to say across to other players. Hopefully Among Us‘ PS4 port will have in-game voice chat included.
As of now, it is clear that Among Us on PS4 will not release for quite some time still. However, Innersloth is thinking about porting the game to console players, and has already stated that they will be continuing to update and add more and more content to the game. Chances are that the game is likely to release sometime next year on the PS5 and PS4 through the PlayStation Store. Until then, console owners can play Among Uson their mobile devices.

Game On: Among Us Releases On Consoles With One Fatal Flaw
Among Us finally made its way to the Xbox and PlayStation suite of consoles on Dec. 14, something that was a long time coming considering its initial 2018 release for Android and iOS devices. If youve somehow managed to avoid any knowledge of this game, Ill give you the lowdown its a social deduction game in which jellybean-looking crewmates on a space station attempt to figure out which of them are actually murderous imposters.
Despite its 2018 release, the game flew under the radar until 2020, when prominent Twitch and YouTube users began livestreaming the game to massive audiences. Among Us is often credited with helping people remain social during the initial COVID-19 lockdowns. Thats true, but believe it or not, the game itself is poorly equipped for that.
Over three years into its ongoing development, Among Us still has no built-in voice chat feature. With the base game, players are stuck typing in messages or navigating a quick chat wheel to communicate. Its baffling because most of the games unique charm is in arguing over who is or isnt an imposter think tabletop games like Mafia or Secret Hitler. Thats the crux of the game, but its severely stunted.
So, howd the game take off despite this big flaw?
I want to like Among Us, but for now it seems InnerSloth is living up to its name.

When Does Among Us Come Out On Ps4
Among Us will come out on PS4 and PS5 at 11:00 PT, 14:00 ET, and 19:00 GMT on December 14th.
All of the above hours are confirmed on the PlayStation website. Its a later launch than the usual midnight release, but at least you will be able to play the game very soon.
When it arrives on PlayStation, it will feature exclusive Ratchet and Clank skins. These include Lombax ears as well as a cute Clank that will follow you around the map.

Among Us VR is a great ground-up reworking of a classic social game that feels right at home in virtual reality, remaining faithful to Innersloths hit while feeling fresh in a new perspective and with a few sneaky new tricks in play. This still feels like the same game many of us fell in love with years ago, yet thanks to new elements like proximity voice chat and mini-games made to work with motion controls, Among Us VR revitalizes action across The Skeld. Additional maps and cosmetics cant come quickly enough, but if theyre up to the standard that Schell Games has set with the one thats currently available theyll be worth a bit of a wait. This is easily one of the best VR adaptations of an existing game yet.

Is Among Us Coming To Ps4
As of right now, Among Us is only available on PC via Steam, where it costs $5, and for free on mobile. Its not available on any home console and the developers havent commented on whether they plan to port it over.
However, nothing has been said since the game blew up and became very popular. Maybe theyll consider it and comment on the possibility as they likely get more and more fans asking for it.
However, with the game relying so much on communication, sometimes in text form, it might not be the easiest game to get to work on PS4. Typing is certainly tougher on Sonys console than it is on PC or mobile.
You might also have more luck in the sequel to Among Us coming to PS4. In a post on their site about a month ago, they confirmed that theyre working on number two. However, they didnt say anything about a console version. They said:
Unlike Among Us 1, we expect to make Among Us 2 for PC first, then port to mobile. This will let us focus on making a great game faster because updates can come out in minutes on PC, where mobile can take hours or even days.
