The Xbox Series X and the full-fat PS5 are identically priced, at £449 .
Both consoles also have a disc drive-less, cheaper sibling: that’s the Xbox Series S and the PS5 Digital Edition. This is where things get really interesting, because the Xbox Series S costs only £250 , whereas the PS5 Digital Edition is £360 .
That’s a big step up, but it’s worth pointing out that the Xbox Series S is less powerful than the Series X but the PS5 Digital Edition is identical to the standard PS5 except for the lack of a disc drive. In other words, the PS5 Digital Edition appears to be more of a proper next-gen games console than the Xbox Series S.

Ps5 Restocks At Amazon
Amazon has been the least reliable retailer when it comes to PS5 restocks–we’ve barely seen the next-gen console in stock there since launch. Amazon PS5 restocks tend to sell out even quicker than other major retailers, which makes securing the console quite a challenge. However, Amazon did have a surprise PS5 restock on July 21.

List Of Some Online Stores From Where You Can Pre
Sony PlayStation 5’s Showcase Event was held on September 16, 2020. It revealed the official price and other launch details of the PS5. The event revolved around new exclusive titles and announcements.
We even got to witness the gameplay reveal for some of the most-anticipated PS5 games like Spider-Man Miles Morales and Demon Souls Remake.

During the event, we learned that PS5’s pre-orders were going to start from September 17 by some retailers. The official PlayStation Twitter account also tweeted the same: “PS5 pre-orders will be available starting as early as tomorrow at select retailers”.
Sony PS5’s base model is priced at 499 USD, while the digital edition with no disc drive is priced at 399 USD. The console will launch on November 12, 2020, in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. Meanwhile, the global launch for PS5 will take place on November 19, 2020.

Playstation 5 Games Price
Since NBA games publisher 2K announced the $70 price for its sports sim NBA 2K21, the consensus has been that there’s a PS5 games hike coming across the board.
That raises the standard by $10 from $60 which seems uncomfortable in the face of what many consider a fairly expensive games console full stop.
To be fair to both Sony and Microsoft, games pricing has remained the same since the launch of the original Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2005. Between game production values having gone through the roof and 15 years’ worth of inflation, it could have been a lot worse for the consumer.
And on a more positive note, we’re already seeing retailers offering discounts on PS5 games. Best Buy recently slashed the price of a slew of unreleased PS5 games including the latest by $10.

Buy Ps: Consoles At Mediamarkt And Saturn Pre
: At the beginning of the week, many players were delighted with the abundance of consoles from MediaMarkt and Saturn. During a relatively generous period of time, the two PS5 dealers brought a lot of supplies into circulation. Many have even already received their console, but of course, as always, some went empty-handed and could not secure the PS5. Not surprisingly, some are currently wondering when there will be PS5 replenishment at MediaMarkt and Saturn.

Sometimes Game comes back for a second round of restocks in the afternoon, roughly two to three hours after the retailer sells out of PS5 consoles in the morning. The second drop is usually smaller and much, much shorter, typically consisting of PS5 orders which have been cancelled for one reason or another.

Ps5 Digital Edition Price
The PS5 Digital Edition price is $399 , $100 more expensive than Microsoft’s own Xbox Series S price but we are talking about the full power of the PS5 here. That means Sony’s $100 discount is actually getting you a lot further than Microsoft’s $200 saving. Whether this is enough to sway the budget market towards Sony, however, remains to be seen.
The PS5 Digital Edition price, then, comes in at a similar position to the PS4 Pro now, which makes sense if you’re looking to get into the Sony ecosystem for the first time here. However, if you’re looking to make use of the PS5’s backwards compatibility, you will have to factor in the cost of rebuying your physical PS4 games. If you’ve already amassed a collection, then, it’s worth picking up the full console and taking advantage of Sony’s PS5 upgrade system.

Despite the global PS5 restock shortage, toy superstore Smyths is letting UK customers pre-order Sonys next-gen console if they do so in-store.
The retailer shared a clarifying that both the standard and Digital Edition of the PS5 are now available to pre-order if customers hand over a deposit.
To clarify, this doesnt mean you can pre-order a PS5 online and pick up the console in-store, rather that you can now go into your local Smyths outlet, pay a deposit, and wait to be informed when to collect your new PS5.

As for when Smyths will receive new PS5s and therefore when those that do pre-order the console in-store can expect to collect one the jury is out. PS5 stock continues to remain scarce throughout the UK, with stock drops happening intermittently every few weeks.

Ps5 India Restock Scheduled For October 25th
PS5 has been difficult to get hold of in India and the news of a restock will bring joy to gamers who intended to pick one up. The restock comes ahead of Diwali and retailers like Vijay Sales, Croma, Games The Shop and ShopatSC will sell PS5s. The October 25th restock comes with the shortest delay between restocks since the gaming console was launched by the Japanese tech giant earlier in February this year.
The Bureau of Indian Standards had given a go-ahead for PS5 hardware revision CFI-1108A and CFI-1108B on September 22, according to a . Earlier restocks of PS5 did not include the hardware revisions, but the upcoming restock ahead of the festive season might see updated PS5 consoles being brought in by Sony.

Despite the supply crunch, the PS5 has managed to stay ahead of the curve and top out on sales charts. This makes the Indian market a hotspot thus letting more units be allocated and dispatched to facilitate more restocks upon demands from popular distributors.

Ps5 Restocks At Playstation Direct
PlayStation Direct regularly opens up a queue for shoppers to buy the PS5 , but it’s often over an hour wait and unclear if the PS5 is even available. Still, it’s worth checking PS Direct often, as it’s the only store still releasing the PS5 on a somewhat regular basis. However, the queues appear to also be somewhat random.
Note that finding a queue on PS Direct doesn’t necessarily mean the PS5 is in stock it simply indicates high traffic to the store. It never hurts to jump in and wait if you find the queue and you’ll be at your computer for a while, but know there’s no guarantee it’ll be in stock by the time you get through.

When the console was first released, some people reported struggles to have their console confirmed or message cropping up that it was checking payment. A console is not confirmed until youve paid, so make sure you remove all barriers by having the money in the account youre using and the details ready to hand.
What About Ps5 Bundles And Deals
We’ve only seen one official PS5 bundle and that was with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and that was limited to a release in the UK and EU only with no sign of it in the US. This didn’t offer any sort of discount though, so it’s not like anyone was missing out.
Other PS5 bundles created by retailers have appeared. Usually with extra games, controllers, and other accessories. However, we don’t really recall seeing many offering any sort of discount – you’d easily be able to buy the extra items for less individually elsewhere. These bundles are essentially taking advantage of the huge demand for stock and getting even more money from a sale. Some retailers have even bundled the PS5 with more bizarre items like PC monitors, often at what are clearly inflated prices for often very average pieces of tech. Sadly, even these deals are still selling out.
Suffice to say, retailers have been very busy over the last few months. And after everything we’ve seen recently, there’s more than enough reason to consider picking up the PS5. For starters, all the upcoming PS5 games are shaping up to be something special. Secondly, the system’s blindingly fast loading times improve the user experience by leaps and bounds even on older PS4 games.
