The official PSN status page does not indicate that there is a problem but many gamers have taken to social media to voice their concerns about not being able to use their consoles fully.

PlayStation Network servers are down today, July 19, as the new cat game Stray is presumably causing an influx of folks eager to step into the paws of an adventurous orange tabby. according to both player reports, PS5 error codes, and Sony’s official sources.
At the time of writing, the PSN service status tracker says “some services are experience issues,” so it’s important to note that there are some components of the PSN that are still in working order. Also, for what it’s worth, we experienced no issues downloading games from PlayStation Plus and the PlayStation Store here on the US West Coast.
Still, PlayStation says a network outage will prevent some players from accessing parts of the PlayStation Store, account management, and “gaming and social” features more broadly. As it stands right now, Sony hasn’t offered any timetable for when these services could come back, and the issue seems to have been affecting players for at least a couple of hours.
As we’ve yet to hear any official word from Sony on a resolution timeline, all we have to go on is speculation surrounding the nature of the outage. And again, its timing coinciding with the release of the acclaimed Stray is likely no coincidence.

How To Check If The Playstation Network Servers Are Down
At the moment, it appears as though PlayStation Network is down, it is likely that the team at PlayStation is currently investigating why the outage is happening. The official status is still showing that all services are up and running, but this is likely to change. Update #2 :Sonys PSN status page says that all services are up and running. We can confirm its working again! Game on!
Update : PSN is still down for the majority of gamers in the US. It seems Amazone servers have taken a hit, which could somehow be tied to this downtime. Well update the post as more info surfaces. Sony has not commented on the server outages until now.
We can confirm that the PlayStation Network is not working for some in the US, UK, Canada, while others in Asia are stating its working for them currently.

Psn Brought Back Online Service Restored To Users
Update #2: Try to head back online on your PS5 and PS4 consoles and you should be able to connect once more. After a DNS server error, the worldwide web and many services are coming back online. PSN included! Everything should all be back to usual now.

Once these external issues are resolved, you should have no problem connecting to PlayStation Network.” It’s not a problem on Sony’s end, but rather a much wider internet outage affecting many sites and services.

According to the official PlayStation Status tracker and IGN sister site Down Detector, PlayStation’s online services are currently down and there’s no word on when they will resume.
So far PlayStation’s public social accounts have not addressed the outage nor provided an estimated time for a fix. So if you’re trying to play something on your PlayStation system you may want to keep checking back.

Update : Fortnite Releases Update V2320 But Players Are Facing Login Issues
While the update is now officially live, some players are currently unable to access the game. Epic Games has acknowledged the issue on Fortnite Server Status social media account and are currently working on resolving the issues. Some players are currently getting the “Successfully logged out” error when trying to log on to Fortnite.

This means Chapter 4 is upon us and with it will come new weapons, a whole new island, and a new battle pass, among other things. PlayStation Network is used by an abundance of people every single day, so when there are server issues, it can cause major problems and confusion across the board. Within the last few minutes, there has been a lot of reporting that there are server issues with PlayStation Network and also, more specifically, PlayStation Plus. I personally couldnt even view my PlayStation Plus subscription a few moments ago, which means there are absolutely issues happening with the network at the moment. This article will explain how you can check the server status to see if the PlayStation Network is indeed down.
Sony Has Yet To Acknowledge Psn Outage
Despite players reporting a number of issues, Sony has yet to acknowledge the outage. According to third-party tracking sites and social media forums like Reddit, players are specifically having problems signing into their PSN accounts, using party chat, and playing multiplayer games on both PS4 and PS5. Those who have managed to sign in are still having problems connecting to online games.
However, not all players seem to be facing issues. While some are being kicked out of the games they are playing, others have managed to stay connected and play. The official PSN Status site will likely be updated in due course but, as previously mentioned, it currently states that all services are up and running.

Update: Fortnite Has Released Update V2320 And The Servers Are Now Live Earlier Some Players Were Facing Login Issues But It Has Now Been Resolved
Epic Games has scheduled the next Fortnite update v23.20 for today and it will be going live in some hours. Eso Servers Back Up For Ps4 Users After Extra Downtimepatches Explained
Elder Scrolls Online servers for the PS4 were back online at around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning after being down since the early hours of Monday.
The game’s publisher Bethesda announced all North American and European megaservers were down for maintenance in a tweet just after 4 a.m. Monday morning and said they would be expected to return about six hours later.
PC and Xbox One servers were returned within a few hours, but PlayStation server maintenance continued long past the original scheduled completion time, prompting criticism from PS4 users on .
Bethesda said the server maintenance team had run into issues specifically for the PS4 and were working to find a solution.
The Elder Scrolls Online said in a post from its official Twitter account on Monday: “This morning while we were testing the build, we discovered some pretty severe hitching that was rendering the game unplayable that only impacts PlayStation builds.
“We’ve been working with Sony to identify the root cause and get the issue resolved, and we want to get everyone back in-game as quickly as we can.”
Bethesda Support announced the servers were back online at around 2:35 a.m. EDT Tuesday morning.
According to the patch notes, ESO on the PS4 is now on version 2.15, and the latest update was around 1.04GB in size.
Updates include several fixes for the Flames of Ambition dungeons, as well as a number of crash fixes.
