If the PS5 will be your first Sony console and you don’t have a PSN account, you can register using the same buttons too. Just go through the account creation process and then you’re ready to go.

Back in November, Bloombergsaid Sonys reduced its PlayStation 5 production outlook for this fiscal year due to component and logistics constraints and that it will be even harder to find a PS5 as shortages and logistic issues continue to plague the company. The Biden administration also believes the chip shortage will stretch into the second half of 2022.
Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger recently told CNBC the chip shortage could last until 2024. Initially the company believed the shortages would end in 2023.
In a financial presentation, Sony believes PS5 stock will start to recover over the next year and then finally surpass the PS4s selling speed in 2024.

Of all the retailers that have offered PS5 drops these past few years, Amazon has been the hardest to track. Amazon PS5 restocks not only come unannounced, but they also sell out within minutes. Amazon is now changing how they tackle PS5 restocks by requiring that shoppers sign up for restocks via their sign-in page.
Registering at for a PS5 invite from Amazon is fairly easy. First, and then head to the . The “Add to cart” button on the PS5 page has been replaced with a “Request invitation” button. Click on the request button and you’ll automatically be signed in. That’s it!
Amazon states that if you’re invited to purchase the PS5, you’ll get an email with a link that’s valid for 72 hours. Amazon clearly states that it will not be able to accommodate everyone, so registering isn’t a guarantee you’ll get an invite or a console.
It’s worth noting that registration is only open to purchase the PS5 Disc console. There’s no registration button on the PS5 Digital page.

Should I Buy The Ps5 Or Ps5 Digital Edition
There are two versions of Sony’s latest console: so how do you know whether to buy the PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition? Well, there’s one major difference between the two – outside of the price.
The PS5 Digital Edition does not include a disc drive so no physical copies of games can be played on the console and you will have to buy all of your games digitally. All purchases have to be made through the official PSN Store. You will, however, still be able to play old PS4 games as long as you bought a digital copy. With that in mind, if you’ve fully embraced the digital revolution and are looking to save on the upfront cost of the console then the PS5 Digital Edition may be right for you.
For most, though, we’d suggest sticking with the standard PS5 as it has the added flexibility with the included disc drive. The other major sticking point with the PS5 Digital Edition is that Sony manufactures far fewer of them compared to the normal PS5. When retailers restock the consoles, then, you often have a considerably smaller chance of getting a Digital Edition – if they even have this version on sale in the first place.
