Bloodhunts Ps5 Release Is Still On Track For 2021
Its been just over a month since Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt was revealed to be coming to PS5 at some point in late 2021. With the end of the year now creeping up on us, Sharkmob has confirmed to The Loadout that, despite no news recently, the game is still coming to PS5 this year.
In an interview with The Loadout, Craig Hubbard, Bloodhunts game director, says that the PS5 release is still on track for this year and well have more to share about it soon. However, whilst Hubbard couldnt provide specifics on when we will hear more about an actual release date, he did touch on what PS5 players can expect when it comes to new-gen features within the free-to-play battle royale.
We already know that Bloodhunt will make use of the DualSense controller, and Hubbard reaffirms that the developer is focusing on getting the essential feeling in place for launch. Sharkmob is doing this by placing its efforts on core mechanics like weapons and abilities.
However, after the initial release, the team may look to add more DualSense party tricks. Hubbard says that Sharkmob plans to experiment more with atmosphere and subtleties once the game is out on PS5.
Despite a lack of updates from the team in the last few weeks, those interested in Bloodhunt will be reassured to know that the first game in this re-emergence of the Vampire IP is still on track for this year.

Last week wasn’t great for those hoping to find a PS5 restock, but this week already looks better. As tipped recently by Jake Randall, the folks at GameStop are prepping a pair of PS5 restock events this week. Tuesday’s restock will be online only and for the Digital Edition of the PS5, while the Friday PS5 restock will be in select GameStop stores and will offer the Disc Edition of the console.
For Tuesday’s restock, GameStop will be offering the following bundle at 11 a.m. ET :

- 12 months of PS Plus
- $50 GameStop Gift Card
- $50 PSN Gift Card
- PowerA DualSense Charging Station

Pulse 3d In Midnight Black
To tease us even further, Sony is releasing a midnight black version of its Pulse 3D headset in October 2021. This is by no means proof that a PS5 black console is in the pipeline. But it isnt exactly a stretch to envisage a black console to match the headset and the DualSense controllers. Why wouldnt Sony allow us to coordinate our equipment? Are they monsters? We will have to wait and see.

Playstation 5 Price: Recent History
After much waiting, Sony announced the price and release date of the PS5 on 16th September 2020.
The company set the price of the PS5 Digital Edition at £360 , and the PS5 disc edition at £450 . That came as a pleasant surprise to those who’d expected the PS5 to be priced higher than the rival Xbox Series X. Prices remain rock solid with demand continuing to outstrip supply in 2022.
But how does the PS5’s price compare to that of its predecessors?
The original PlayStation and PS2 launched at £299 in 1994 and 2000 respectively. The PS3 was quite the step up in 2006, with the entry-level 20GB model starting at £425 although that was more or less in line with inflation with regard to the original PlayStation, and there were also the significant hardware upgrades to factor in, not least of all being the Blu-ray optical drive.
Nonetheless, the PS3 was initially criticised partly for its seemingly high price. The 60GB model’s $599 price tag took particularly heavy flack. By the arrival of the PS3 Slim in 2009, though, all seemed to have been forgiven.
The bigger public surprise was saved for the 2013 PS4 launch, however, when the PlayStation price dropped down to £350 and heralded the arrival of one of the best-selling games consoles of all time.

How Do You Get A Black Ps5
Sony
Sony has confirmed on the PlayStation Blog that the console covers will be available for both the PS5 with the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and the PS5 Digital Edition and are sold separately from the PS5 console and DualSense controller.
This means that, if you want to buy a black PS5, you will need to buy a plain PS5 and the black PS5 console covers separately. Then youll be able to follow the instructions on the console covers and swap them onto the machine, effectively making your own black PS5.

With exclusives, firmware updates, studio acquisitions, and the release for the sustained support for the PS5, 2021 is a busy year for PlayStation. However, 2022 seems even busier because some of Sonys biggest exclusives will be released in this year.
Here comes the question: what are PS5 exclusives. As the name indicates, PS5 exclusive games can only be played on PS5 consoles. If you play them on other consoles or platforms, you will fail to play.

Ps5 Pro Price And Release Date
The biggest factor around a potential PS5 Pro for many people will be what price tag Sony attaches to it – since the £450 or $499 PS5 is still so hard to come by, if the PS5 Pro eventually appears at a higher price it might be hard to justify spending more on it.
Taking the PS4’s generation of consoles as our example, the PS4 Pro has consistently sat at around £100 or $100 more than the base PS4, even as those prices have been steadily cut, to maintain the angle that it is the higher-powered and more premium option.
However, by the time it launched, the original PS4 had a lower price, so we’d assume Sony might follow the same track and release the PS5 Pro at the exact same price as the PS5, while making the base model cheaper.
When exactly this might happen is a long shot, but we can’t see it hitting shelves before late 2023, frankly. Given the huge shortage of materials that it’s working with, Sony still can’t make enough PS5s to meet demand. Whether it will want to muddy the waters with a new model so quickly is anyone’s guess.
Do We Even Need A Ps5 Pro
Technically, no, but in three years’ time, we might see developers encounter more hurdles due to the PS5s aging hardware that results in noticeable compromises in games, like lower frame rates or resolutions. A PS5 Pro could revitalize a lot of older games if they get enhanced as we saw on PS4 Pro, and the additional horsepower should ensure that newer titles arent held back, either.
