Insomniac Games announced at Playstation Showcase 2021 that would be coming to PS5.
The title will follow the massively successful Marvels Spider-Man on PS4 and Marvels Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS4/PS5, which have sold over 15 million copies and 6.5 million copies worldwide respectively.

Who Is The Main Character In Marvel’s Spider

Based on information from Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it appears that will have dual protagonists of Peter and Miles. And the trailer all but confirms it. We see whats essentially combat gameplay with each of them.
Spider-Man 2 might feature dual narratives, one for Peter and another for Miles. It could take an approach similar to Scarlet Nexus, where you play as one hero for an entire run of the game before experiencing something similar through the other perspective.
One new addition in Spider-Man: Miles Morales was two-person takedowns, which seemingly appear in the sequels trailer. For whatever sections that Miles and Peter work together, they should be able to pull off cool combo attacks.
Do We Know What Platform Marvels Spider
, and fans will not be able to play the superhero game on previous-gen hardware or on any rival platforms at launch.

Per Insomniac Games, there are many updates coming with the remastered version of for PC, and the major change is the overhaul of the game’s graphics.
The developers have confirmed that the PC port will allow controller support along with mouse and keyboard support. Other PC-specific functions will be available as well, like adjustable render settings and ray-tracing.
Lastly, players can look forward to a ton of content in the game. Not only will the main story and its slew of side quests be in the remaster, the entire three chapters of ‘The City That Never Sleeps’ DLC will be packaged with it from the get-go.
When Did The Ps4 Come Out
Sonys PlayStation 4 came out on Nov. 15, 2013, following the massive success of its predecessor, the PS3. During its initial debut, the PS4 sold over one million units in 24 hours, making the system one of the fastest-selling game consoles.
The PS4 day one launch also featured an exciting lineup of popular games, such as Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, , and Angry Birds: Star Wars. Since then, more hit major titles have increased the systems popularity, along with some new equipment and upgraded PlayStation subscriptions.
Even though the PS4 has been out for several years, the console is still doing reasonably well, especially when Sony revealed its sales during the Business Segment Briefings 2022. For example, in the second and third years of the PS5, the PS4 outsold its successor. Furthermore, purchases from the PlayStation Store and subscribers of Playstation Plus are primarily from the PS4, resulting in a much longer life cycle than Sony expected.
However, it may be a surprise to hear that Sonys older model, the PlayStation 2, remains the best-selling console of all time, with over 150 million units sold. But, as more upgrades come out, including PlayStation Stars and its revamped PlayStation Plus tier system, the PS5 could possibly take over this spot one day.

Who Are Marvel’s Spider
Both previous games have featured several different villains, but the trailer makes it clear that Kraven the Hunter and Venom are the main two villains. The Venom Symbiote has almost certainly taken over Harry Osborn.
The first game also leaves Harrys father, Norman Osborn, in a dark place: Hes resigned as mayor of New York, and he’s growing increasingly desperate to find a cure for Harrys terminal illness. It becomes increasingly clear that Norman is spiraling into madness. The vast amounts of wealth and lab technology he has access to allow him to pursue more extreme measures to help his son. When MJ sneaks into his lab, she discovers a prototype mask, blueprints for a hovercraft, and three purple grenades.
In the first games conclusion, Harry is in critical condition and a stasis chamber full of green liquid. A black, web-like substance is seen encasing his body. The black goo is extremely similar to the Symbiote fans have seen in the Spider-Man comics and films. In Miles Morales, Norman also finally releases Harry in the post-credits scene, so hes probably the Venom we see.
Also, when we revisited the plot thread in Spider-Man: Miles Morales post-credits scene, Curt Connors was present. His brief appearance almost definitely sets him up for a larger role in the sequel. From the blood sample found in the first game, it seems that Connors has already transformed into the Lizard once hell likely return to his supervillain persona.

Whos Developing The Pc Ports
While Insomniac Games developed the original Spider-Man and its sequel, a company called Nixxes Software is handling the PC versions.
Jurjen Katsman, Nixxes Founder and Senior Director of Development, shared a few words about the games PC development journey over on the PS Blog. This is what he had to say:

What Is The Spider
Nothing has been said on this yet but don’t expect too much of a change-up from the last game and the Miles expansion. So we will have our open-world setting back, complete with all the side missions and interesting people to meet and interact with. We’d also expect a wealth of collectables to find as you make your way around.
The last game had enemy hideouts that you could take on and research tasks to complete on the side, and we expect similar things to be in this one too. That being said, we would hope to see some new types of gameplay when the game rolls around in 2023. We look forward to find out what they are.
Are There Any Marvels Spider
While no gameplay has been revealed just yet, early reports have implied one huge change may already be locked in for Spider-Man 2.
Suits are the key behind unique abilities in terms of both combat and traversal. The sequel is sure to introduce plenty of new Spidey suits for both Peter and Miles, though another layer of depth could be on the way.
Each and every suit will reportedly feature a symbiote variant version according to FandomWire. This could see our heroes using Venoms symbiote powers to their advantage. As a result, dozens of unique powers could be in play to mix things up like never before.

Alternate Versions Of Spider
Within the there exists a multiverse with many variations of Spider-Men. An early character included in the 1980s is the fictional anthropomorphic animalparody of Spider-Man in pig form named Spider-Ham . Many imprints of Spider-Men were created, like the futuristic version of Spider-Man in named Miguel O’Hara. In the MC2 imprint, Peter marries Mary Jane and has a daughter named Mayday Parker, who carries on Spider-Man’s legacy and has a 1930s version of Peter Parker. Other themed versions exist within the early 2000s, such as a version and an Indian version from Spider-Man: India named Pavitr Prabhakar.
Ultimate Spider-Man was a popular modern retelling of Peter Parker. The version of Parker would later be depicted as being killed off and replaced by an Afro-Latino Spider-Man named Miles Morales.
The storyline “Spider-Verse” brought back many alternate takes on Spider-Man and introduced many newly inspired ones, such as an alternate world where Gwen Stacy gets bitten by a radioactive spider instead, along with a British-themed version named Spider-UK called Billy Braddock from the Captain Britain Corps.
Who Is Developing Marvel’s Spider
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is being developed by the award-winning team at Insomniac responsible for 2018’s . Bryan Intihar will be returning as creative director and Ryan Smith is back as game director. The duo have decades of experience between them, having worked on everything from the Resistance series through to Ratchet & Clank and Sunset Overdrive. Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter are set to reprise their roles as Peter and Miles, respectively. Is There A Marvel’s Spider
Yes! During the September 2021 PlayStation Showcase, Sony released a teaser trailer for the game, included below:
In it, we catch glimpses of Peter and Miles fighting random enemies together, using various powers and gadgets to take them down in unique ways. After finishing up the battle with a tag-team attack, they hear a sound from a nearby alleyway.
During all of this, we hear a gruff voice doing the voice-over. He says the following:
For as long as I can remember, I have looked for an equal, one who could push me. One who could surprise me. One who could even beat me. Yet all I found, is disappointment. Will one of you finally give me what I desire?
Anyone who knows their Spider-Man lore will recognize Kraven the Hunter even though we never see him. Somewhat less surprising than Kraven showing up is who answers his question: From the alley, Venom says, Yesssss…we will. When Venom says we, is he talking about the Symbiote and its host? Or is he talking about himself and the two Spider-Men?
Full Dualsense Support Confirmed
When it comes to playing games on PC, most people will use a keyboard and mouse but when a controller is needed or beneficial, an Xbox controller is the tool of choice for most.
PlayStation seems determined to change this a little bit, giving Spider-Man PC full support with its Dualsense controller, something which might become the new norm for their PC ports in the future.

Will Marvel’s Spider
The second Insomniac showed Peter Parker and Miles Morales fighting side-by-side in the reveal trailer, the call went out across the internet for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 co-op. It’s easy to understand why players would want that functionality swinging around the city with a friend would be a hell of a lot of fun but the studio has seemingly confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be a single-player only affair. In a reveal post on the PlayStation Blog, Ryan Schneider, Insomniac’s head of franchise strategy, used the following language: “Were so thrilled to continue the journey of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their most epic single-player adventure yet”. Sorry, web-heads.
When Does Spider
Sony is continuing its trend of bringing exclusive titles from PlayStation to PC with not just one but two Spider-Man games.
As players wait for the full-fledged sequel to be released in 2023, they will be able to play Marvel’s Spider-Man and the spin-off featuring Miles Morales on PC before the year ends.
While Miles Morales simply has a late 2022 release window, the remaster of the original ground-breaking Spidey game for the PS4 has a concrete launch date of August 12, 2022.

Will The Spider
One thing we know for sure is that the Spider-Man PS5 game will not include co-op gameplay, with Sony’s official PlayStation Blog stating that this new game will “continue the journey of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their most epic single-player adventure yet.”
The use of the term ‘single-player’ there seems to rule out any chance of you playing as Pete while a multiplayer mate controls Miles. Both previous games in this franchise were solo affairs, though, so this isn’t a massive surprise.
Can You Pre
With the game still some way off, it should come as no surprise to learn that you cannot pre-order Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 game quite yet.
Games do get listed earlier and earlier these days, though, so we imagine the main sites will have it available in the coming weeks or months – and we’ll be sure to update this page when those first pre-order pages start to appear.

Will Spider
When Spider-Man was first announced at Sony’s E3 conference it blew everyone away… except for gamers on other platforms. A licensed game being exclusive to one platform? Those only happen a few times, and while they’re generally excellent it always means that once the console generation is done, those games disappear forever. GoldenEye. Star Wars Rogue Leader. The Joker levels for Batman: Arkham Asylum. All gone.
Will the same happen to Spider-Man? Well, for now, Spider-Man is only confirmed for PS4 and is not coming out on PC, Nintendo Switch or Xbox One.
But what of the future? As it’s a license not owned by Sony, it’s entirely possible that Sony may only have a temporary exclusive, like with the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy. It’s likely this deal was put in place to allow Marvel to use Spider-Man in their movies, as Sony has the film rights to the character, so Marvel may have specified a temporary deal.
To be honest, the most likely place that you may be able to play Spider-Man on PC is Playstation Now, Sony’s streaming subscription service. They just allowed Bloodborne on Now and that’s one of the biggest PS4 exclusives, so it’s entirely possible Spider-Man may end up there.
If not, well, there’s always these great Marvel games on PC… even though most of them have been delisted and aren’t available either. We hate licensed shenanigans…
